The On-Stage Clip-On Orchestra Light (LED202) is an ideal stage light for the performing musician. I bought it because it wasn't very expensive and I hoped I'd finally found the ideal stand light for stage gigs. The perfect light would be small, bright, and heavy duty. I guess one out of three isn't too bad for the money. This little unit is easy to clip on and adjust. The light output tends to the dim side however. (After all, you're dealing with two tiny LEDs and three AAA batteries. Not exactly Three Mile Island.) It's usable, but don't expect it to light up your charts like the old-fashioned incandescent bulb under a metal hood you've been using for years. As far as construction, this unit is lightweight plastic and probably won't take much abuse, but it is well put-together. Actually, I clip it on the headboard of the bed for nighttime reading. (It's great for that.) And I'll still be using the clunky old incandescent fixture for gigs, I guess, while the hunt for the perfect light continues.
