I wouldn't really recommend this to a bass player. The only thing that is wrong with this stand is that the angle at which the instruments sit makes the head stocks of my Fender Jazz Basses about 1/4" from each other. So if you happen to bump your stand they smack together. They need to redesign this a little better.

Comments about On-Stage Stands Professional Double A-Frame Guitar Stand:

Love this thing! I did need to bend the back arms a bit to fit my acoustic and my gretsch without knocking headstocks, but it wasn't hard to do and now it works perfectly. I see a lot of reviews about bending the arms, but I'd rather bend them out than try to bend them in to keep the guitar from falling. Great product, just bend the arms to fit your rig! Great for small stages, compact spaces, whatever comes your way.

Comments about On-Stage Stands Professional Double A-Frame Guitar Stand:

Great idea to fit two guitars into a small space, especially useful in small venues. Stand required minor bending of the rear most supports for guitar to align it so the guitar head stocks didn't hit, but works great once adjusted

Comments about On-Stage Stands Professional Double A-Frame Guitar Stand:

Some reviews complained about having to tilt one guitar off-center so the headstocks don't touch, which made me question my decision to order the stand. Well I have it now and I don't have any problems...tilt one a little this way, one a little that way...no big deal. Both racks are very stable and make a very convenient, small-footprint, easily accessible resting place for electric and acoustic. I am really happy with this purchase.

Comments about On-Stage Stands Professional Double A-Frame Guitar Stand:

If you are a multi-instrumentalist, then this may be your stand. It will hold two instruments securely and has a solid A-frame design, so none of the unstable multi-part stands with the bottom parts falling out. The stand will hold an acoustic guitar and an electric guitar, two electrics, or an electric guitar and a bass, for example. I do sometimes have issues with the angle of the neck of the front guitar vs. the back guitar, but with a little experimentation it's not a problem. Great for gigs and for a home studio, since it's got such a small footprint.

The stand is over all sturdy; however, the angle at which the instruments sit cause the heads to touch if you don't place each instrument in the exact place every time. I would not use this on stage with others walking around it.

I used it for about 1 year, then start falling apart. The metal arms where the guitar sits borke off. You would think it is strong and secure, but not the case. PLUS the rubber feet were coming off all over the place the whole time. By the time it broke, it looked like a Frankenstien covered in duck tape - GARBAGE!!
