2 height-adjustable, steel speaker stands with carrying bag.
The SSP7855 Professional Steel Speaker Stand Pak includes 2 height-adjustable steel speaker stands and a convenient carrying bag to hold them. The all-steel speaker stands each have a 1-3/8" upper shaft and feature a 2-section vertical shaft with 8 preset height-adjustment holes with a locking pin for added security. The stands feature friction-locking, retractable leg housings for quick and easy set up and tear down.
These stands will fit most speaker cabinets without wobbling around using either the 1-3/8" diameter upper shafts or the included metal adapter sleeves to fit speaker cabinets that have 1-1/2" internal brackets.

They are basic stands that will get the job done. They do come with safety pins which is a added feature. The thing that I do not like is that the carrying bag that is included. The bag doesn't seem to fit well and the shoulder straps snapped on the first day. The stands seem to dent easily as well--so if you operate an A/V company where different technician handle the geat in different ways--then you may want to shell out the extra dollars for a more expensive stand. The stands are great for the DJ who is just starting out(they are affordable and they do get the job done. But, I wouldn't recommend these to a hotel or convention center (where the presentation of the A/V equipment may be an issue.)I said that because the stand seem to dent and scratch easily.

I have been using these stands for about two years from Gigs, to Block party's during the Summer months, I also rent out PA' systems to various bands here in New York City. As long as, you take care of them they will last. Use the little metal bars and you don't have to worry about the knobs breaking. I haven't compare them to any others, but their Great for the money. I take care of my equipment and I don't let anyone touch them either. If you want anything in life to last do the work yourself. See you pay for your stuff, you will appreciate it to take care of it. Trust me they work, and they are on sale now. Now the prices is even better, I just purchased another pair. By the way I work as a Purchasing Coordinator.

These stands are a great value and are everything I personally need except for the durability of the knobs and the lack of replacement parts.When the stands arrived they were damaged in shipping. One of the knobs was broken. I called MF and they said they would contact the company and have them send me another knob at no charge.The knobs arrived (they sent me two different ones) but neither one will fit these stands. So I went to companies website. To my surprise I found that they do not have a replacement part for this stand, in fact they don't show this stand anywhere on their site. I don't know if that is because it is new or an old clearance item they are not going to support or not.If I could get a new knob for this stand it would be just fine. But It is just a throw away item I guess. I wish I could have used it for a few gigs though before I had to throw it out.Musician's Friend of course has made everything all right with a refund and I did not have to pay shipping back. I will try something that has replaceable parts for my next stands.

I used these stands to hold up 2 Black Widows speaker cabinet @ 450 Watts @ 8 oms and these stands are worth the price. Thanks again MusicansFriendIt's been a pleasure working with you guys and especially the Customer Service they are good and know their stuff when it comes to matching systems, I do the playing they do the matching and we both work great together. I have had these particular speaker stands for a few years now, and they are a workhorse to say the least. Easy to open, easy to adjusts, and easy teardown. The one great feature I like is the added pins that can be inserted into the holes for added saftey, just set the heigth, lock in the pins and I never have to worry about them falling down. A fellow DJ friend of mine has another type of stands that has a "quick lock" device on the first gig it collapsed..give me the stands that have the pins you insert and NEVER worry about the speakers falling..NECER!!!

These stands are quite remarkable for the price.They are very sturdy and hold my Peavy speakers (40 lbs) very well. Included carrying bag is well made, and a real asset for carrying them around. In my opinion an excellent value.

When my uncle and I started buying PA equipment for our singing engagements we weren't sure what we were going to do about stands. We found these and have been very very pleased. For one thing the stands are sturdy and easy to set up and take down and pack. The bag is high quality as well. In fact we have another bag that we carry our mic stands and some cables in. We have 3 mic stands and our speaker cables and power supply in one bag and it holds everything fine. It saves trips to and from the car when we are pressed for time trying to get set up.
