Great Stand

Features:

I use this stand for both of my guitars. Very sturdy yet simple. Only thing is with strap locks on board your guitar, they will touch the floor as there is not enough clearance.

Ok, but not great

Features:

It's a single guitar stand.  Not much to say about features.

Quality:

Seems sturdy.

Value:

Certainly can't complain about the price.

Overall:

Others have mentioned this already, but it's very low to the ground.  On the one hand, that's great for stablity.  On the other hand, I have strap locks on my guitar and the lower one will actually scrape the ground if I'm not careful about how I place the guitar in the stand.  If you're got a side-mounted input jack, it could definitely be a problem.  I have a Strat, so it's less of an issue.

My gripe is that it doesn't seem to fit as securely as I'd like.  I don't think it's going anywhere, or at least it hasn't yet, but I'd prefer a more solid fit.  The legs that grab the bottom of the guitar have various ridges in them to accomodate different guitar shapes and there just doesn't seem to be one ideally suited to mine.  I mean...it's a universal stand, and I have a Strat.  I would've thought it accomodate it.

That said, it probably won't be an issue unless you have kids, large pets, or some showpiece guitar.  For the money, it's a good buy and has worked fine thus far.

Nice guitar stand

Features:

After careful scrutiny, I finally decided on this stand. and I have no regrets. The best feature is what many have overlooked and have considered a drawback----if you open the stand only to the first stop, that is, halfway, it is ideal for all electric guitars. Many reviewers have missed this point and have complained that the stand is too close to the ground. Yes. if you open it completely for acoustic guitars, it would be.

Quality:

No problems so far.

Value:

It does the job well, at a fair price.

Overall:

I don't see how anyone could go wrong with this stand. Of course, that's just my opinion.

decent stand - wish it was just a tad taller from the ground

| Review By: Alexander Ekrot | 4 months, 3 weeks ago

Features:

the height that it supports the guitar from the ground is just a little to close if you have a straight plug coming out of the edge of your electric guitar.  The plug hits the ground when you put the guitar into (or out of) the stand unless you are really careful.  If it were just and inch taller, it would be perfect!  I'm sure the made it close to the ground to lower the center of gravity/make it more stable - just something to consider in case you plan to use it with an electric (unless you have 90* plug or a jack on the finger pick guard (front) of the guitar.

Quality:

good - no issues with build quality

Value:

fair price for the quality of the product

Overall:

If the design would accomodate my straight plug cord in the edge of my electric guitar then I would rate it perfect, however it's just a little too close to the ground - the plug hits the ground occasionally when you pull the guitar off the stand if you are not careful.

Works 4 me better than any other

I bought about a half dozen different types of stands until I found this one, all the others just collect dust now. One of the biggest bonuses of this design is you can grab the guitar and the stand won't try to follow or tip over like the tall ones do. It holds the guitar no matter what brand or style, you don't get that ability in the rest of them. I like the fact it doesn't hold the neck, makes it far easier to pick and and set down. I'd buy more if I had the room and could use them all at the same time. If you have more than one guitar, especially if you have both acoustic and electric, then you need at least one if not two or more of these little gems.

This is a most simple and elegant design that serves a dual purpose of holding pretty much any shape guitar acoustic or electric. I think it's a lot more stable than the tall ones. And it folds up for easy travel, takes up a lot less room than the tall ones do. The rubber pad holds the body in place and doesn't mar or affect the finish at least not on any of the dozen or so guitars
I've used it for, both really old and brand new ones.

It's solid with the exception that the arms for holding the body are bendable, but that's a two edged sword, not good when you step on them, and I've done that more than once, but also a good thing because you can bend them at will, although it takes some amount of effort, but if you think yours is too low to the floor, as some here have complained about, then just bend it up a bit and problem solved..

Great value, kinda like buying insurance just once that lasts forever.
