Plastic parts break easy -- Don't buy this strap

Very nice looking nylon strap, good leather ends. CHEAP BRITTLE PLASTIC slider parts that break very easily with no warning. I've had 2 of these straps (on 2 different guitars) break in the same place (where the leather end is attached to the adjustment slider) in the last 3 months. One strap broke at a gig (made it through the night thanks to duct tape), the other strap broke while practicing at home. Both straps live in the accessory pocket of hard cases when not in use. I have NEVER had any strap by any other maker fail in over 30 years of playing. I'll never buy another Onori strap no matter how cool the nylon webbing looks. IME they just can't be trusted. Buy something that doesn?t use fragile plastic in critical places.
