I recently got the Boss ME-20B and didn't want to buy Boss's power suppy for it since it was more money. At the price you can get this one for there is no comparison. This thing is great!
Awesome unit. Does what it needs to at such a low price.
I hear no humming or buzzing with this to my pedals.
Seems pretty sturdy and such. Nice build.
I have been using one of these for 3 years ever since my Boss PSA-120 died. Never had a single issue with it. It powers a board that consists of 7 Boss pedals, using a TU-2 and a Boss daisy-chain to share the power.
This thing is built tough! I use it to power my Dunlop Crybaby and it works like a charm. There is no unwanted noise like some poorer quality adapters add, and the price on this adapter is a steal! So stop wasting your money on 9 volt batteries and get your hands on this adapter!
Seriously, I am so sick of having power supply problems for my board, I am getting 5 of these and a Furman Plug Lock block for warts and putting that into my power conditioner/filter. All these "bricks" are a load of crap, they do not put out chain a few you out-pull the capability. Most players have no idea of what they are doing in regardenough mA for anything but basic pedals and if you to mA loads. Each pedal needs a solid 100 mA some pedals require 200 mA and a lot of other pedals more than that. You can go with a higher mA source but not a lower one, most pedals will not even turn on with a mA lower than their operating current. You cannot chain multiple pedals off this one unit, it is absurd, you wind up with a nearly dead battery effect. Come on. I am running one of these on each of my pedals and trashing the brick power supply that just does not have enough mA for proper chain.
I was able to power a fuzz face, 2 crybabys, a boss pw10 wah, and a boost pedal all at the same time with no problems, killer product!
Power supplies are not very exciting but a less expensive one that does as good a job gets a 10. I've used these for a number of years. The reason I bought 3 more is that these seems have been getting lost or accidentally taken/forgotten from loaner situations over time.
Std powere supply (instead of for example a BOSS PS which is more expensive).
It's a power supply and it works.
Same quality as BOSS PS for lower cost
see all of the above. Cool packaging, reliable, trouble free use, cost 1/3 of what some of the competitors charge, go and buy 3, you will not be sorry. If you know someone who works with tin and can air brush me the box desing onto a form fitting tin, hit me up!
just to give it 5 stars, how many features do you expect on a $9 power supply? It doesn't buzz and comes in the coolest box imaginable. I store it in the box (I own 2 and I'm about to purchase 3 more) and I try to not damage the box. One day I'm going to have a person airbrush the box design onto a tin box and store them in ther. Just a great retro vibe on the box, looks like an old pack of cigarettes from the 1950's.
I've had 2 of these for a year, I didn't pay much, was not expecting them to last. Not only have they lasted, I have had 1 trouble free year so they've paid for themsevles already by not having to buy batteries at $5 a pop and I don't have to worry about them crapping out at a gig. I'm buying 3 more of them.
Probably the best feature considering come companys (and you know who you are) charge over $20 for something like this, in this day and age it's nice to get true value, it's an amazing value.
An awesome adapter for a low price. Very little noise during operation when powering my honeytone mini amp. Also, I use it to power my limited edition mxr classic overdrive. A wonderful value!
Danelectro products are cool, well built and are priced right. This is the perfect adapter for all my effect pedals. It is well worth buying.
I have one of these adaptors that I bought back in 2000 and I still use it today with all of my pedals, I also own 3 more of these and they work great with all of my equipment. They won't break the bank and they won't let you down, nuff said.
I bought this to power my Pocket Pod in lieu of Line 6's pricier power supply. From what I read in the reviews, it looked to be relatively low quality anyway. So I took a chance with this, and I have to admit you can't beat the price. I've been using it for a few days now and haven't had a single problem with it. This is a great, inexpensive alternative to Line 6's proprietary product.
I just got this supply.. its great anyone looking for a power supply.. buy this.. you will never look back!
This is the only power supply I can use with some of my pedals, especially Akai phaser, because it is very quiet. All others I've tried hum or buzz. Great product at a cheap price.
I used a Boss ACA adaptor for my ME-33, which turned out to be the wrong one, as it required a Boss PSA adaptor. The ACA produced in ignorable hum with the amp on high volumes, and burnt up after a couple of months. Using a Wal-Mart 9v adaptor also produced lots of hum. Those were stupid mistakes, but still, instead of paying lots of $ for the right Boss power supply, I bought this for way less $ and it works like a charm. Kudos, Dan electro.
Bought 2 and they power my boss os-2 and ibanez cf7. good deal and cheaper than the others!
I use this pedal with my Ibanez DE7 and my Boss RV-5 and it works like a charm while producing no hum, great power supply for the price, I would suggest it to just about anyone who was looking for a good 9v power supply.
Awesome product. Does what it's supposed to and does it well. Can't ask for anything better for the price. Perhaps if you disagree.. maybe you're just not doing it right haha
Everything im looking for in a power supply.
Every bit as good as more expensive adapters from other companies. Works great with Boss pedals.
I bought this power supply to power my Boss DS-1 because I was tired of going through 9v batteries. This thing works like a charm. Powers the pedal perfectly and doesn't produce any noisy humming or buzzing. It's a better power supply than the Boss PSA adapter, and it costs less than half as much. Buy it!
