As soon as I got my feet on these pedals I was able to drum faster and with more power than ever before. Granted, the pedals I had before this were pretty awful, but it's still amazing when you realize that simply buying a high quality pedal can make that sort of a difference. This is not a big name brand company - not even close to the most expensive pedal - yet it was able to deliver this kind of a difference in my play. Since I got this, I got it in my head that higher priced pedals might make even more difference. I proceeded to try expensive direct drive pedals for a few days, but I can't escape it: I'd rather play these guys! Not just because it saves me money, but because they're truly excellent.Simply put: I'm able to play a powerful consistent beat right out of the box without making a single adjustment; what more could you want than that?

These pedals have an amazing price, they are fairly strong, there are not any great features to brag about, the slave pedal board is pretty big, but I made it do, its a great set of pedals for it's price or for a biggner, I would recomend the 9000, yes I know that there expensive but you get what you pay for. But over all completly average.

I am 14 and bought this pedal as my first double pedal. I looked at pearl powershifters, iron cobra jr, taye, anything. I these beat them all. The guy at the music store was telling me how people buy these over dw9000's. I understand why, its not just the speed but these have a good feel; not to stiff but not to loose. They are actually DW7002's without the name. And feel better. I would chose these over any pedal and so does my dad who's played for 40+ years and used all double bass pedals. I only like 1 pedal better as a single and that is the Ludwig speed King, but I feel my 36 year old speed king is worn in well to, but if that was a double pedal it is the only one i would take over this.
I've had this pedal for a while now and this pedal has certainly exceeded my expectations. It's nice and smooth and fits into nearly any budget. I have virtually no complaints other than the a peg jets out of the slave pedal forcing you to set your high-hat a bit further away. If your just learning double-bass, or need a quick cheap replacement, the DP602C gets the job done.
I just got this pedal today, wasting my half of my pay check just for it & can stop playing it. It was well worth it. I can play faster then ever now. I recommand that Amateur drummer buy this.
This pedal is awesome. I can play really quickly with this pedal. I can play solid 16th notes with this pedal and sometimes I can move into thirty second notes. This pedal is a great buy.
This was the first pedal that I've owned and they are awaesome. I purchased the eliminator recently, but these will always be with me. I bought a bass drum practice pad for silent practice with these pedals. Me and another friend liked these more than his DW 5000.
AMAZING!!! Quality is unconparible! I have used Gibraltar Intruder II pedals before and the are very good, but these PDP 602 pedals are almost right up there with it! I am an ordinary person who loves this item. I cannot stress enough how awesome this pedal is!! Just some fine tunung and you could have the fastest pedal you've ever played on.
I bought this pedal because I wanted to upgrade and learn some double pedal technique. I did some research and read only great reviews for it. And now here I am, writing one myself. Everything about it amazed me. The price, the sleek look, and the smooth feel. also how easy all of the mechanisms work. Definitely a good buy.
this pedal is one of the nicest pedals i've ever played. It is (in my opinion) smoother and alot easier to play than DW 9000's. and with my style of music, its essential to have a strong pedal that can take a beating (no pun intended) and these pedals meet all of my expectations and more. they have a little tab on the slave pedal for a sprong if you wanted to make 2 independant pedals, but i just put that behind the brace for my hihat stand so it doesnt slide at all. the best. hands down.
I've become more and more impressed with PDP products with every piece of hardware I use. This pedal is no exception. I received this pedal yesterday, and I set it up with NO adjustments to test it out. Right out of the box the feel is amazing. Very smooth action with very little of the "lag" that the slave pedal will usually have. I'm almost afraid to adjust the settings, since it's already close to perfect, but I'm confident with a little tweaking it could be even BETTER.I'm officially a PDP drummer now. I won't be wasting money on hardware or drums from other companies. Why spend more money for an inferior product, when PDP can offer PRO QUALITY drums and hardware for the drummer on a budget. You CAN afford this pedal, and you WILL love how it performs. And from experience I can say this PDP pedal will keep performing for many years.
This is a great product. I bought it about 2 weeks ago and i love it. I never played double pedal before and this was going to be my learning tool. After playing it for the first time i loved it. It has a double chain which is very durable so you don't have to worry about breaking the chain and it also has built in plates allowing even more strength.
