Got it used with my pearl forum kit a couple years ago. Have since moved on to a gibraltar with liquid drive, highly reccomended. This stand is a classic example of getting what you pay for. After a while the clutch wears out. This is fixable, but then the rest of the stand started to go to. I'm not too hard of a hitter and play with maple 7As, so i'm not beating on the hi hats by any stretch of the imagination. eventually had to retire it. Not a bad stand if you're on a budget, but don't plan on it sticking around very long.

I attached a 10" pacific add on snare to this high hat stand and it falls over if/when I hit the snare. It is not strong enough to hold a set of hi-hat cymbals and a pop corn snare? spend a little more and get something worth the money.

a decent stand for the money

By dan

from pueblo,co

just to let everyone know the other reviews saying it works with a double bass are misleading.you cannot adjust this to make it work with a double bass pedal.the construction is a mid level, not too strong but also not the weakest.if you only use one bass pedal then this is a pretty decent stand that will last a long time if taken care of.if you use a double bass pedal go with something else.

Killer value

I recently bought this when my old Tama stand gave out on me, and I have to say I am impressed. Despite being only 40 bones, it has a rigid design and the pedal is comfortable. Recommended.

Awesome Buy

By Cedric Houston

Awesome hi-hat stand. I have played stands much more expensive than the HH700, but with the HH700, I cannot tell the difference. The ease of play and durability for this hi-hat stand is worth way more than the price.

great stand @ great price

By ZackK

This hi-hat stand is awesome. My buddy has a DW stand he paid $200+ for.. let just say I you will get MUCH more BANG for your BUCK with this one. Within about 20 minutes of fine tunning all the adjustments, I had it exactly how I want it.. feels the same as the $200+ one! GREAT BUY!

Pacific

I usually play all DW things, but I went with a this hi-hat stand because I was low on cash. It's great for the price, I would definetly recommend this. It hasn't fallen over or anything, and I play rock hats. The spring is very rectice and opens nice and freely, if you low on cash, go for this.
