This stand just wobbled too much for me. I have a very active hi-hat foot when on my ride or playing closed. I also am set up in a carpeted room with standard padding underneath. The stand did not slide, but it wobbled horribly on this surface. I tried several leg configurations, but nothing helped. FWIW, I did try it briefly in a room without carpet, and it was fairly solid. But my drums are in a carpeted room for the foreseeable future, so I sent it back. I'm getting the rotating 3-leg model for a replacement. If you set up on a solid floor (even on a drum carpet with no pad underneath) this hi-hat stand would be great.

I bout this stand a while ago from my local drum shop because i needed a fairly cheap hi-hat stand in a hurry, so i went with it. To make a long story short, I brought it home, set it up, but could play it because it didn't balance correctly. I tried every single leg configuration I could think of and it still could not get the wobble out of it. A finally came across a semi-acceptable configuration and practiced with it for a little while, but after I really started playing, it just wobbled some more. To be blunt, I pretty much think that this stand is a disgrace to the drumming industry. Don't waste you time money and sanity on this stupid stand.

Great Stand, Great Price

By Weitjosh

from Missouri

I have been gigging with this stand now for about 3 months, and have had no problems with it. I love the 900 series hardware from pdp. The base place has an adjustable angle to fix the wobbling, and the 2-leg design allows me to fly back and forth between my kicker and my hihat. PDP FTW

Hi-hat stand

I bought this stand 2 years ago and this stand is great!!!! no problems at all. Just a little wobble but that is because my set up is on soft carpet. i will gladly continue to invest money in pdp products.

worth it all

After buying a pdp double kick, I was hooked. Even though people have knocked pdp in the past, I have yet to have an issue with my hardware. This stand is awesome for the price it is. There is some wabble, but there is always wabble wen you set stuff up on carpet, you know? I suggest this stand, especially if you are using a double or just need a durable stand.

Great stand, outstanding value!

When my old stand finally bit the dust, I wanted something that wasn't going to break the bank, so I got this stand. I've been using it for about a year now, and I still love it! The two-leg design can wobble a bit on heavy carpeting if you bounce your left foot a lot, but if you just lean it forward a bit, it not only provides stability, but also gives a more optimal angle for striking the hats. This stand also fits perfectly with a double kick pedal and large snare stand. Bottom line, it's a sturdy stand at an excellent value.

Crazy good for a cheap price

By Jake-QIvwU

So I bought this cymbal stand because I needed a replacement real bad and I didn't really want to spend 100+ dollars for a good stand but I didn't want to use a crappy one either so I decided to give PDP a shot since I've known the quality of their stuff. and Wow, the 2 leg system is incredible, I can place my double bass right where they are without any interference with the hat stand and it doesn't wobble, it's stable, solid, and durable!get it today

this stand kicks. it is freakin solid and is an awesome deal at this price. i was a little skeptical about the two legs, but this thing does not move, the velcro on the bottom of the pedal helps keep it in place. buy this thing today.
