Comments about Pearl Hi-Hat Cymbal Holder with Uni-Lock Tilter:

I have another hi-hat arm from a different brand that works very well, but is kind of hard to place, so I decided to buy this hi-hat arm made by Pearl, and it lives up to its expectations. The arm is very manueverable and easy to place on a drum rack. The clutch is different from other clutches, rather than being tightened by two washers in a typical clutch, the top hat rests in a spring-loaded cymbal crown and is tightened by a plastic wing nut. Sometimes the plastic wingnut will loosen a bit, so to combat it from loosening, I used a long nut and put it against the plastic nut to prevent any more loosening. With that tiny tweak, the hi hat arm is very well built.
