The Jingle Clamp is a solid plastic bar attached to three jingles. For a unique sound from your snare or tom, attach the Jingle Clamp to your drum hoop. Rubber knobs on the jingles rest flush on the drum head so when you hit the head, you hear a slight jingle. Or strike the top plastic sleeve for more jingle volume.

      Comments about Pearl Jingle Clamp:

I originally saw this jingle attached to a doumbec drum so I thought I would give it a try. It really doesn't have enough sound for that. I tried it on a frame drum and it works much better, but still not enough sound so I bought a second one. Using two of them does make the frame drum a bit heavier but the sound is cool

      Comments about Pearl Jingle Clamp:

I use this on a side snare. With the snares on it doesn't cut through the mix for some reason. With the snares off it rings through very clear. It is a very loud and distinct tambourine sounds. I think I was hoping for something more subtle, but it is a solid Pearl add-on which is what I've come to expect from that company.

      Jingle snare

      By Yahoodrummer

      Comments about Pearl Jingle Clamp:

Jingle snare is what this coud be called. That is where it works best. I tried this on toms and it just doesn't get it. However, when you have it on a snare you really get a good "poppy" sound and the decay is really quick. It is very easy to loosen while leaving in place. I was surprised at that fact (you know how little it takes to make jingles jingle) but these don't when they aren't on the drum head. Great way to add a little something to your snare sounds.

      Great for the desired effect,

      Comments about Pearl Jingle Clamp:

This is mainly used for a snare or tom/tamborine sound. Keep that in mind before ordering! This attaches to the rim and can be limited. I use this on a aux snare to achieve the jingle/snare backbeat. When I need my aux snare sound I flip the Clamp off and put it on my stand. Takes only about 15-30 seconds. I have also tried this with a tom mounted to a floor cowbell pedal and achieved a very unique pleasing sound.

      These don't work at all

      By Jim-q3FHP

      from Denver, CO

      Comments about Pearl Jingle Clamp:

I tried one of these out at a local retailer. At first they seemed like they would be cool because they clamped on nicely to the snare rim, and there's a second adjustment nut to lower the posts to head level. However, I could not get these to jingle whatsoever regardless of how softly or firmly they pressed against the snare head. The jingles simply aren't sensitive enough to respond to the vibration of the snare head. It's possible that with a much louder snare strike that these will respond, but the loudness of the snare will more than drown out three cheap tambourine bells.
