i used to always think pearl was a little over rated and didn't see why, out of all the other brands, they reigned as king. after months of asking other drummers what they like i got it down to the dw 9000 and 500. iron cobra, of course, the axis, and the power shifter...what sold me on it is that they are completely customizable and every little the adjustable. not to mention that the replacement cams are something ive never seen before, nice touch.its so smooth and my speed instantly grew from the second i played it.

I used a pearl eliminator for 6 months and liked the way it felt but had so many problems with it. I always took good care of it but so many screws broke and fell off, the piece that holds on the interchangable cams broke off while playing. It was still under warranty so the 5 star drum shop I bought them at ordered the parts to fix it through Pearl. That was over 6 months ago and no word from Pearl.

The action and response on these is awesome, and I like how I can adjust several components separately to match my playing style.

Comments about Pearl P-2002B PowerShifter Eliminator Double Pedal (Right):

I love this pedal. I had the cheaper pearl one before and this is a great upgrade. I went with this one because it was on sale and I'm happy with it. You can change the drive type, the cam, the angle of the footboard, pretty much everything! Well worth [$]. When it comes to pedals you can feel quality when you play them, and this pedal screams it at you!

best pedal out there. used to have axis longboards and i like this pearl more.. so different settings comes with 4 interchangale cams, but theres also like 3 other ones you can buy. going to get the axis sonic beater though because these pearl ones are kinda heavy

    BEST.

Comments about Pearl P-2002B PowerShifter Eliminator Double Pedal (Right):

Unless you wanna spend 500+ on some pedals these are the ones for you. I tried DW's and Tama Cobras and they were good pedals but the Eliminator is simply the best. Three words that come to mind for the Eliminator is Comfort, Consistency, and Speed.

Comments about Pearl P-2002B PowerShifter Eliminator Double Pedal (Right):

Anyone who says that any other pedal is better then this is quite ignorant. With proper adjustment you can make this pedal play like any other pedal on the market, Iron Cobras, Axis Longboards DW9000, ect and this usually costs less them most of them. If you complain about things falling off...have you ever tried regular matientence on your pedals? You are beating these things to death, for pete's sake! You can expect things to get loose, I guarantee any other pedal will do the same thing. Yes, they are a little expensive, but there is nothing else out there that can withstand like these pedals. They will go as fast as your feet will make them go and with the level of adjustibility you can make them fit like a glove (or rather a boot or sock or somthing....)

    Great Pedal

    By Great Pedal

Comments about Pearl P-2002B PowerShifter Eliminator Double Pedal (Right):

First of all I'm just going to say this pedal has changed the way I think of double bass. I was a huge fan of DW and then I played this masterpiece and I was in love. I quickly bought the pedal later that month and I opened the package and toyed with it. I was first loving the interchangable cams and that was awsome. I use the blue one cause its like the most simple standard cam. Then I notice that you can lower the footboard all the way down and lowered the tension. This all took me about 20 minutes! And it was the perfect setting and I havent touched it since. I played for 5 hours that day and just loved it and overall I would recommend this to every one but if you have the money get the demon drive but if you want to pay half the price and get a pedal that is slightly worst I would get this one. It is a beast.

Comments about Pearl P-2002B PowerShifter Eliminator Double Pedal (Right):

I bought this pedal a week ago because of some research i had done before, I installed it and was mildly happy, my old pedals were some Gibraltars and Yamahas.

I was not 100% happy with the product because I was feeling that my old Yamahas were giving me more feeling and sound (Ex. The Trooper bass line). Then I decided to sit down and tweak them. They come with the red cam, I played with the 4 cams and decided that the White one was the most suitable for me, I also tried different spring settings, right now I feel so happy about it, it's really good and I feel it will help me improve a lot. I think these pedals will last 20 years or so.

      Impressive.

Comments about Pearl P-2002B PowerShifter Eliminator Double Pedal (Right):

Im 15. I bought this pedal, and adjusted to it immediatly. ITs an amazing pedal I must say, its really simple to put together and tune, I owned the Tama Iron Cobra before this and got this just to see the difference, I must say its, just as brilliant if not way better. Only problem with it I've encounted so far is that when you use heal-toe, its hard for people with bigger feet like me, size 14. next step is the Giant Step pedal.

      Great Metal Pedal

      By Anonymous

      from Undisclosed

Comments about Pearl P-2002B PowerShifter Eliminator Double Pedal (Right):

This pedal is extreamly smooth and adjustible. There is only one problem I found. The pedals do not spread far enough which makes my left knee hit my snare all too often. Other wise it is a great pedal for any style of music and is the most adjustable pedal on the market right now.
