Great Pin Set

Comments about Planet Waves Boxwood Bridge/End Pin Set:

A little pricy, buy hey, they're boxwood.
Used the large peg to replace the plastic strap peg on my Yamaha F335 and the pins in same.... dressed it up very nicely. Sound now compares to a D-18.... for a thousand less.

Boxwood bridge pins

Comments about Planet Waves Boxwood Bridge/End Pin Set:

Usually, I take this stuff with a grain. After all, bridge pins are bridge pins right?? Not so. I installed these with the MOP dots on my Alvarez AD90SCK and noticed an immediate increase in volume, bass and overall tone. I liked them enough to order a set of ebony pins for my Washburn cheapie, Same result,increased volume, warm lows, and defined highs, on a 99 buck guitar.If you have volume issues, or just want to detail your acoustic a bit, these are very nice and affordable options that cause a tone improvement for very little money. Most importantly, they stay put, unlike other expensive pins made out of metal or other materials, these being wood, do not slip out of the pin hole during tuning. Major plus.
