I don't like writing reviews but I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the cable and plugs.Easy to put together. Wish the cable was longer and more plugs but thats the standard length and plugs used in most package setups. I think companies which similar products add to there packages. Really only 5 cables can be made with the package they have. Some players as myself use a pedal switcher. Each pedal has its own switch therefore each pedal needs an in and a out. Thats 4 plugs and 2 cables per pedal. I do like that they use 24K gold plugs. 5 for all except 4.5 for value. I think everything is too expensive.

I bought these because I was being cheap and I got a deal whereas I woulda paid a lot more for the George L's version. They are easy enough to put together...the first time, after you realize that 3 out of ten plugs are bad you have to re cut them over and over again, hoping you don't gank the cable and break the connection inside.I only gave a 3 for feature because you only get right angle plugs, and they're HUGE! These take up quite a bit of space between pedals, and some straight plugs woulda been really useful. They help tonally, I'll give you that. I notice a massive loss of tone as I'm replacing these one by one, as they break during a gig and I have to go back to my noisy, but trusty cheap-o patch cables that cost 75% less money. I'm tough on my gear, but nothing else breaks as often as these do. I've had toilet papaer outlast em...To be fair, I've heard people say the George L cable kits do the same thing, but I see more touring and session pros that use em so they obviously must be superior. Nashville guitar players may lie like cheap rugs, but their pedal boards dont...

Comments about Planet Waves Cable Station Pedalboard Cable Kit:
I thought too long about trying one of these and now Im happy I pulled the trigger. Its amazing how much it cleans up your board. I think they made my sound more balanced. I dont know if thats due to cable quality or taking out excess cable, but Im happy with it. Some say the price is a little steep. I agree I would have liked a couple extra right angle ends. However, Id say the cost is equal to the price of 5 decent quality cables youd buy anyway. I wish I had bought one of these kits instead of all my other cables through the years. Great product. Dont hesitiate to take a chance on them its easy and sounds great.

Comments about Planet Waves Cable Station Pedalboard Cable Kit:
I've had these cables on my board for the past 4 years. I haven't had a single issue with these. I've used them over and over and not once did I have any issue. Don't know what all the fuss is about. Only reason I gave it a 4 was because I wished the connectors were skinnier. Other than that they work fine.

Comments about Planet Waves Cable Station Pedalboard Cable Kit:
Never used any product like this before but my pedal board has never looked as neat as it does now. I was apprehensive initially after reading some of the reviews that guys found these cables hard to make/assemble. Nothing could be further from the truth. Every cable worked perfectly the first try. The directions are simple and in less than 3 minutes from the time I opened the box I had completed my first cable. In fact, I have ordered a second set and my board will consist of nothing but cables cut to the exact size needed to make the best use of available real estate. The angled jacks and the cable are real quality stuff too. I would have given this product 5 stars if they would have provided enough jacks to make at least 8 cables but other than that I have no complaints.
Comments about Planet Waves Cable Station Pedalboard Cable Kit:
Pretty simple really. The connectors are high quality, they go together quickly. I like them.
Easy to use. Comes with a cable stripper. Stick the cable into the connector & it holds on toght.
The cable is a good grade. The connectors are gold plated, they plug in my effects snugly
I think that is a fair price for the quality of the components. I bought a kit to try them out. I bought 2 more kits after that.
Comments about Planet Waves Cable Station Pedalboard Cable Kit:
Don't trust the people who give this one star, They work great. They are only for pedal board, but they are as sturdy as a regular cable
Easy To Cut, No Hassle With The Connections, Easy to Tighten Screw. Don't trust the people who give this one star
The Gold Plating is Why I got these, the gold is a better conductor and really makes it sound clearer. Don't trust the people who give this one star
A little expensive but when you narrow it down youre really speanding less than you would on normal gold coupler cables
Comments about Planet Waves Cable Station Pedalboard Cable Kit:
I got these for an enclosed pedalboard. I am METICULOUS with directions and care of my stuff. These began to short out and fail from the first gig. They are JUNK. Don't waste your money, unless you like to take apart your pedal board apart every time you play. The connectors are weak and fall apart easily. BAD design.
Comments about Planet Waves Cable Station Pedalboard Cable Kit:
Easy to use, easy to make, very reliable. Great sounding, to my ears. I have three kits in total to run through everything on my board, and I've had no issues whatsoever with these cables. I've reorganized my board a couple times and still have plenty of cable left over. Too expensive for what is in essence 5 cables, but they sound great and last.

Comments about Planet Waves Cable Station Pedalboard Cable Kit:
I bought these years ago to replace unreliable and difficult george l's and havent looked back...I just bought another kit and decided to finally pay them their due. These cables are very easy to cut and connect...once done they are MORE reliable than soldered cables..I have swung pedals from the connections and still have had ZERo problems...I have NEVER had to make a cut twice or reconnect a connection...its that easy...the 90 degree jack is small enough to get your pedals very close together...my only complaint is I wish these kits came with more than 10 jacks (5 cables) as they have PLENTY of cable...I have bought 5 or 6 kits and have enough cable for another 5 or 6 kits worth of jacks LOL...which is good when you need to make a small cable bigger you have extra cable...this is a great kit and a great way to tailor your cabling needs without a solder gun!
Comments about Planet Waves Cable Station Pedalboard Cable Kit:
I have been using these for about a year now and the only problems I've ever had was because I assembled one wrong or because I was twisting the cable. If you set them up carefully they won't give you any problems, just put in the time and you will be blessed with great tone via reliable cables/plugs. 5/5 across the board! (no pun intended)
