      Does the Job

      By Ninjawailer

Comments about Planet Waves Fret Polishing System:

This stuff really gets the green stuff off of your fretboard. It will take 1 sheet to clean one fretboard. My only complain is that they could have done this for a lower price since the manufacturing and packaging probably costs 10 cents overseas. Or they could have included more sheets.

      These work!

      By Jamie Zaman

      from Seattle

Comments about Planet Waves Fret Polishing System:

I bought a used guitar and the frets had some serious corrosion on them. These did a great job cleaning them up. It took four sheets, but the frets were in really bad shape. I used an eraser as a sanding block like a previous reviewer suggested -- great tip!

I've tried polishing my frets in the past, with everything from fine sandpaper to steel wool. This is all I will use from now on, works quickly and easily. You become an instant luthier!

      I'm Satisfied

      By Southpaw-KyYrH

      from Weaver, AL

Comments about Planet Waves Fret Polishing System:

I pulled my Spector bass out of its case for the first time in 10 years and the frets were literally corroded. I first thought about taking it to a shop for a grind and polish, but decided to try to save some money by cleaning the frets myself. I used all five of the polishing cloths to get the job done, but if you are just polishing up some dull frets, one cloth will likely do the trick. Remember, I was buffing away 10 years of neglect. I didn't use the fret slot thingie (two slots cut in the card-stock of the packaging) but I was working on a rosewood neck that needed some lemon-oil anyway. I also used a pink eraser (the big, rectangular kind) as a 'sanding block' and it made the 2+ hour process a lot easier.Bottom line, my frets now gleam like new. For 6 bucks and some elbow grease, I was able to get results that would cost $50 or more at a guitar shop. I'm happy.
