Yes, I said beautiful! It's the lowest profile capo I've seen, and the most effective. Ned Steinberger is an engineer's engineer. The guy is a genius at designing something completely utilitarian, and making it elegant, simple to use and very effective at what it's designed to do. No, it's not "headstock snappable," but it easily clips to my mic stand for instant access. And I never have tuning issues with it! Highly recommended.

i bought this a couple years ago for the reason it being the cheapest(price) in the store. and it has met and exceded my expectations over the past few years. the one down fall i have for it is my acoustics head is thin and i cant clip it on top of the head. but thanks to the screw function i can just tighten it slithgly on top of the nut and its all good. a very very good buy.

This is a very solid capo. The only problem I have with it is the fact you have to screw it on and off but that might be the reason it has such a solid sound. I recomend buying it

When I got this capo I didnt really know what to expect. I took it home and tried it on my guitars. It works really well. I took it to school and the thing fits right in my pocket. My friends all want one now. I have no complaints at all. Great buy if ur in need of a capo.

This is a great capo. I've been using trigger-style capos for a couple years now because my first capo was a cheap screw-on Kyser, which was junk, and therefore I thought that all screw-ons were as cumbersome. However, this Planet Waves capo installs on your guitar's neck almost as quickly as a trigger capo--without pulling your guitar's strings. You may need two hands to put it on, but once it is on, you can easily unscrew and slide it up and down the neck with one hand. Just a few turns of the "dial" is all it needs.The Ned Steinberger Capo may look tiny, but it has no problem holding down all the strings. (To give you an idea--I could install it as far up as the 10th fret on my Epiphone 12-string and it held all 12 strings, no problem!) I always had to check that the E strings were down and sounding after putting on my old capos, but not with this one. It always gets it right. Unlike most capos which squeeze the neck between two bars, this one "hugs" the bottom and side of the neck, ensuring accurate positioning every time.I've tried it with a few different instruments and it's worked fine with all of them: 6-string, 12-string, nylon string, even my banjo and bouzouki. Planet Waves' products seem to be either hit or miss, but this one, in my opinion, is a definite smash!!

Bought one, works fine but it takes two hands to install it. One to hold the capo and one to tighten the screw.when you get it in place, it works great lots of compression on the strings.
