Buy and Return if you are not impressed. Musicians Friends Customer Service is A+ so listen and regret you paid more for Cables that over promise and under deliver.
Great construction for the price point with durable Jacks and nice moulding for hands when inserting and removing from my Amp Head to the Speaker Cabinet.
My home stereo consists of have a Tube Amp (Sonic Frontiers SF 80), Conrad Johnson Mosfet Pre Amp and have spent big bucks for speaker cables and interconnects and have heard the difference between brands. A total pleasure to spend much less for so much more.
I use this to connect from my late 80's Marshall Mosfet Lead 100 to the Blackstar Cabinet and the input jacks for both create a very solid, tight connection. I bought the short 5 foot cable with the belief that less is more when it comes to Cables. The Jacks, Cable construction inspire confidence in longevity when breakdown and set up.
I will buy another set for my other gear.

First and foremost, this cable is very stout. It's likely three times the diameter of a standard guitar cable. When I first plugged this cable into my Marshall stack I was amazed at the sound quality. The lows were more present and the high frequencies were pleasantly tame. I bought two of them because I liked the first so well.
