Comments about ProLine 3+3 Diagonal Mount Tuning Machines:
I have an old Ventura 12-string I got in 1978, from my grandparents. It has bar-tuners on it, and over the years, they fell apart. I've been playing it with 6-strings for the past 25 years or so.
This guitar has been through 10 different states, two mountain ranges and two coast lines, and still ready to be played.
I chose these tuners, because it was cost effective. I bouth two sets, and although they were a little tight, they worked quite well. They are easy to use, keep in tune, and the only negative I have, is that the screws they supply, don't hold a good bite. They don't get completely tight, you and easily strip them...so be careful on installation.
Also, the sleeves were a bit small compared to my old ones. I worked around that with some old tricks. You'll have to figure out what's best for you. Good tuners for the money!
