Comments about ProLine A-Frame Electric Guitar Stand:

I got 2 of these frames while on sale. After receiving them, I wish I would have bought several more for my other guitars. They are very sturdy and extremely portable. They look great and will work great in any kind of situation. From home to studio to live performances.
Works great with different guitar shapes. From my Les Pauls to Strats and it's the only stand I have tried that holds my Dean ML just right.

Comments about ProLine A-Frame Electric Guitar Stand:

This stand would be ideal if you never have to move it. The metal base (aside from the cheap plastic add-ons) feels solid, except the arms that hold your instrument feel a bit flimsy. There are plastic endcaps on the tips of the arms, so when you're transporting the stand, or simply look at it the wrong way, they fall off and you have to play scavenger hunt looking for it, and usually ends up being found 6 months later in a bandmate's bag who mentioned they found it on stage after a show. I loathe anything that has cheap plastic parts that fall off easily. The endcaps on the legs will probably fall off as well. My bass guitar leans too far back for my liking. I would prefer if it would stay more vertical to take up less stage space, or make it adjustable so you can angle it wherever you want.
There is a metal pin that locks the stand into place when you unfold it, this pin is so stiff you practically need a hammer to get it loose.

Comments about ProLine A-Frame Electric Guitar Stand:

Really appreciate this product. My only con is I don't like the angle in which it holds my bass. Just seems awkward to me. Seems the braces which hold the bass/guitar should be closer to the support legs. Personal preference I suppose.

As a long time professional musician, I have owned many guitar stands and have to say that this stand rocks ! It is very sturdy and holds your guitar securely and safely. I especially like the locking mechanism that lets you adjust the width of the bottom holding mechanism. I trust it completely to hold my very precious Les Paul Custom, PRS Custom 24 and Stratocaster on stage. I am buying 2 more because I like the design so much !

                This is a superior product

Comments about ProLine A-Frame Electric Guitar Stand:

If you buy this stand, you will be very pleased with it and you will want one for all your guitars - it is just that good. Add to that the secure locking pivot joint to keep the legs where you put them, and the bullet-proof construction of this stand and you can see why I say it is the best product for what it was designed to do. It won't get wobbly with use, It is made from quality materials and the build quality is first rate prescision work. What else do you want for the price?
This stand is super strong, very stable and fits a wide variety of guitar shapes. It works with my Les Paul very well, and it even works well with my Fernandes Vertigo, which is a tough guitar to get a stand to support because of its unique shape.
The finish is a semi matte black, no drips or runs and the rubber padding is very good - it holds securely without marring your guitar's finish. The rubber feet grip very well whether on a hard surface or on carpet. It is built with precision and no sloppy mud dauber welds are evident. It sits square and rock solid - what more do you need in a guitar stand? It works for solid body and semi-hollow body electric guitars with equal ease of use, and it will support your average acoustic guitar as well. I would use it for an all around stand for guitar.

The only things I think it wouldn't be suited to is larger bass guitars - they should make a slightly larger model for that, adding an inch or so to all the dimensions would do the trick, and for guitars with a nitrocellulose finish - the rubber will react with that finish and ruin it.
It carries a very reasonable price tag and it does the job you need it to. It looks like it will last for a long time and will handle road abuse due to the substantial construction and quality of the materials. Over all, I have to say I can't think of any reason why it would need to be replaced by the average player, unless it was lost or stolen, and yes, if I did lose it I would buy the same one again.

                guitar stand

Comments about ProLine A-Frame Electric Guitar Stand:

Perfectly good stand and the adjustable width feature is nice. Works fine for my bass guitar but the curve that holds the bass is a little overkill for a electric guitar. Since it's so wide my bass has alot of tilt back - not a big deal I guess. It would probably work fine of a thinner acoustic guitar but it not wide enough for my Martin acoustic bass guitar - it will fit in but it rests on the curved edges of the stand but could damage if it were to be pressed in too hard.

If you need a guitar stand for your electric, get this one.
Adjustable width. From strats to large-bodied gibsons, this one does it. Folds up small for easy transport to gigs.
Appears to be build strong and sturdy. Gives guitar and stand low center of gravity so your axe won't tip over.
Great price for a product that gets the job done.

                I'd make one change.

Comments about ProLine A-Frame Electric Guitar Stand:

                For the money? Nice!
I seearched high and low for the perfect stand for my Steinberger Spirit.
It's a very small body, and I liked that the legs of this one could be adjusted closer together.

My only complaint is that the arms that hold the guitar are spot welded to the legs, therefore, you can't adjust the width. Had they been attached with a screw, it would have been easy to put them closer together by rotating them a bit.

At this price, let's see if they bend easily.
If you have a standard guitar, no problem.
What do you expect? A roadie?

Actually, it's very well made. I just wish the arms coule be moved too.

I'm going to try the dreaded, "I'll just bend them a touch." and see if that works.
