Comments about Proline Amp Stand:

I was looking for a stand to hold a 50 pound GK neo 2x12 cabinet. The stand is well made and is very stable in the first two positions, with very little wobble, and folds down flat for transportation. On stage, it places the speakers in good position. I am six feet tall, and in the lowest position it hits me right where it needs to about five feet from the cabinet. Additionally, my amp (MB800) is still able to sit on top of the cabinet without sliding off the back. The stand has double locking pins for the height adjustment and its very solid and stable. The only two complaints I have are the arms arent at a 90 degree angle so the amp does not sit up against the back rails, and that the arms have to be taken out to be folded flat for storage. They are minor and it does not effect the ability to keep the amp solidly in place during a live show.

    Comments about Proline Amp Stand:

I bought a couple of these when they were on sale a couple years ago. The the detent ball in a adjustment pin on one of these things fell out the first time I used it. Small thing but irritating. It will not hold a tube amp without being VERY prone to tip over. It will hold something like a Fender 112 OK, but I could never get the amp to rest against the back supports. Works OK as a stand for a small mixer in a road case, if not over 25 pounds. I have also noticed several pinch points on this thing, so watch your fingers when you just pick it up, much less fold it up on purpose.
