Comments about ProLine PL2100 Musician's Performance Chair:

I was surprised by the other reviews. Hadn't seen them until after I had picked mine up. I have not had those experiences and as a matter of fact had to lean at a completely stupid angle to get it to tip. The key is you have to sit in it like it was designed, not out on the edge. If you're firmly in the seat you'll have no problem.

There is a design issue which is that the seat itself is very square and bigger than it needs to be, but if you're in it with your back against the backrest it is comfortable and there are no tipping issues.

The footrest is a bit too short. Another two to three inches and it would be perfect.

I like it, glad I got it.

Comments about ProLine PL2100 Musician's Performance Chair:

Bad news. First off it will tip over forward at the slightest movement, like leaning into a mic. to sing. After modifying the back leg, (Shorten it) to give it more of a back angle I thought I was good to go. Then after the second use, the spot welds broke that hold the seat to a bracket and on the floor I went. How embarrasing is that? Save your money, do not buy this product. Its unsafe junk.

Comments about ProLine PL2100 Musician's Performance Chair:

I am extremely disappointed with this purchase. I wish there had been a review of this product available before I placed this order. The chair is very, very unstable and will fall forward without much effort. The foot rests are way too short and I am not even able to put my feet on them while seated, so they basically serve no purpose at all. The foot rest was one of the main reasons I wanted to purchase a guitar chair. I have other ProLine products and am happy with those items...so, I am very surprised that this product is of such poor design and quality. Even at this discounted price, it is huge waste of money. Unfortunately, this item is going straight to the trash heap.

Comments about ProLine PL2100 Musician's Performance Chair:

I had high hopes for this chair, but now I see why the price has already dropped more since I bought it a month ago. The chair is poorly designed: it is very easy to tip forward off it (ie. unbalanced); the footrests are too far back to be useful. The back support is also angled so that it doesn't really support your back. Also, the parts are poorly made so that nothing really fits snugly together....every part you have to put together ends up having a wiggle, even when tightened down, so that all these wiggles add up to an unstable chair. Presumably, the goal of this product was to give you nice, comfortable place to play guitar so you could focus on that rather than chair arms and other distractions. This product doesn't do that. Disappointing (especially for the money).
