OVERVIEW

Angled stand supports 150lb amps with 5 height settings and a design that minimizes vibrations.

The Proline PL-AS adjustable amp stand is a rugged, all-steel stand designed to hold guitar amplifiers at the perfect height for stage use or in rehearsal or recording studios. A slight back-tilt aims your amp up toward your ears so that it can be heard clearly at lower volumes.

With 5 height settings from 16" to 24", the PL-AS amp stand also minimizes vibrations passed through wooden stages and floors, extending your amp's life. Cam-shaped leveling feet help to stabilize the ProLine amp stand on uneven floors and provide a non-slip grip.

Locking leg braces and safety pins for the upper supports give this amplifier stand the strength to safely hold up to 150lb. Finally, the upper amp supports have rubber pads to protect your amplifier's covering and to minimize vibrations.

When you're done, the entire amp stand breaks down into 3 pieces. The upper supports are hinged to collapse for easy transport. The ProLine PL-AS Adjustable Amp Stand's durable powder coat finish ensures that its looks stay good for years to come.

I searched a long time before deciding on this amp stand and I am glad I did. I play guitar through a Vox Valvetronix AD 120 which is about the size of a Fender Twin or AC 30. I was concerned that an amp stand would be strong enough to support my amp and not wobble or be top heavy. This stand is the perfect fit for my rig.
Most stands I saw online looked weak and would not hold much weight. My Vox is a two 12 model and though it is a solid state/tube hybrid, it still weighs about 80 pounds and few stands I saw would support it.
The tilt angle is ideal and the support arms are tall enough to hold the back of my amp securely. The height of the stand is adjustable and I have mine adjusted to the maximum height with no wobble issues. It folds up fast and is easy to transport.
I highly recommend this stand for guitarist who use heavy combo amps. It will hold a Fender Twin Reverb and any amp of this type with no issues, not to mention the fact how much better you can hear yourself when your amp is off the floor and shooting at your head and not your knees.

The spot welds on this stand break with the slightest pressure. I've gone through 3 of these things and will never buy another one.

The angle is good and padding on the arms protect your gear but with the weak welds you'd be best served to set this up and never try to move it or move your amp. If you try to use it at gigs and actually set it up and take it down and drive to/from a gig it will break in no time.

ProLine should source these from a shop that has welders who do quality work or use a different method to assemble the stand.

SUPER disappointed.

Comments about Proline PL7000 Adjustable Amp Stand:

The Proline Amp Stand is a quality piece of equipment at a fairly reasonable price. I've bought two of these amp stands over the past year. One is used for a Marshall AD100S acoustic amp (about 46 lbs)and the other for a Line 6 Spider IV 2x10 guitar amp (about 50 lbs). The stands are adequate and generally solid. One has been on the road for almost a year (2-3 times a month). I've had no problem with it. I've owned a Musician's Gear Deluxe amp stand, which was certainly adequate and cheaper. However, the Proline stand has more options for adjustment and doesn't have as much of a harsh angle (your amp isn't aimed at the rafters). There are five height settings from 16" to 24". The stand breaks down into three pieces for transporting. Other than the quality and look of the stand, overall I like the slight angle tilt best. A good investment to get your amp off the floor and highlight your sound.

Comments about Proline PL7000 Adjustable Amp Stand:

As a retired Tool & Die maker, I have to take my hat off to the people at Proline who designed and manufactured the PL - AS adjustable Amp Stand. From the Amp Cradle Angle to the Cam - Shaped Leveling Feet and everything in between. Hold's both my Fender Deluxe 90 DSP and Twin Reverb with no problem. I should have purchased this stand a long time ago.I would recommend this stand to any Musician.

Comments about Proline PL7000 Adjustable Amp Stand:

The stand works OK, but there is no adjustment for the amp angle. The construction is poor and some of the weld spots are off. The forks are fixed and if your amp doesn't have its' feet in the exact right spot, the amp will sit with a left/right tilt.

Comments about Proline PL7000 Adjustable Amp Stand:

I needed a stand for "The Beast" -- my 1976 Fender "Silverface" Twin Reverb amp. These amps are always heavy, but mine is more so due to its having very heavy Celestion G12H-100s speakers with their huge ceramic magnets.

The PL7000, which goes together quickly with just two screw clamps and secondary "pins" for added assurance, is completely stable and secure with the amp.

Another nice feature is that the rubber "feet" are designed as cams. That allows for compensation if the floor is at all uneven, keeping the stand and amp stable even under those less than ideal circumstances.

I could not be more pleased with this stand. Good value for the money, too!

Comments about Proline PL7000 Adjustable Amp Stand:

It's super sturdy for your amp combo or speaker that you secure it with. I looked at other models that were cheaper from other brands, but I spent a bit more and chose this one, and was glad I did! This amp stand has 2 of these sliding/locking pins that reinforce the stand. It also has these turning screw/handles on each side, but just remember DON'T OVER TIGHTEN THEM! Hand tighten only, otherwise you will dig into the supports (I haven't done this but it would seem likely to happen over time).

It has 5 height settings to adjust, NOT angles. Although the legs fold out to create an angle, it's really the height that changes, which is perfectly fine because the angle is great if not perfect. I use mine with a Crate V50 series which is large for a 12" combo. My amp is fairly heavy and this would have no issue holding a 2x12" combo. Buy this and don't spend a buck less on cheaper versions. You will not be disappointed!

Comments about Proline PL7000 Adjustable Amp Stand:

I purchase this 'more expensive' stand because I needed to hold a heavier 2x10" bass amp. I currently own several of the musicians gear stands and they work just fine. However, upon receiving this one, the welds don't line up with the holes and the legs are actually SMALLER in bulk than the Musicians Gear stand. Being a musician of some years now and seeing a lot of products, I would just purchase the Musicians Gear stand. You will be just as pleased.

This stand is great, easy to set up and feels very sturdy. The height adjustment is great and it actually gets alot higher than I thought it would. I use it for my fender 212 combo and it holds it very securely, no wobbling of any kind or issues with the amp's feet not fitting as I have read in some other reviews. Overall great product.
