The pick-up mounting holes were not counter sunk to accept the screws. Not a problem to fix, but you would think that since all the other holes were ok that the pick-up mounting holes would be done. Fit on one of my Strats (12 string) perfect, the other one not so good. Not blaming the product as my (6 string) is from the custom shop w/Fender II tremolo and a 22 fret neck instead of the standard 21 fret. Not a difficult problem to fix, otherwise beautiful and much better quality than the Fender original.

First to note, this is a very nice pack of products. The tortoise is a very clean and crisp pattern. It is a 3-ply pickguard (tor., wht., & blk.)and back plate. There are drawbacks for such a deal, however.1. The middle left mounting hole is about an inch lower than the Fender OEM.2. The pickup mounting holes are the same diameter as the body mounting holes. Some pickups will have to have different size screws (not a big deal - true, but it is not factory spec.)3. The biggest thing is the backplate that was included in my particular pack was nearly 3/4" too small - width wise. The holes do not line up smoothly at all either. Conclusion? If you're just wanting to spruce up some non-Fender woohoo this is a good buy. The Fender OEM crap is pretty pricey. If you're looking to replace, hot rod, or build your own factory spec Strat. I would not recommend this. Then again, this was only in my pack. Perhaps the other backplates are a better fit???

Comments about ProLine US Strat Pickguard SSS with Back Plate:
It's just barely able to fit on my guitar. It looks okay but I don't wanna lose all my hardware. The color is slightly redder than my rosewood neck on a offwhite strat that's aged naturally 20 years. Kinda dissatisfied with the product.

Comments about ProLine US Strat Pickguard SSS with Back Plate:
Dimensionally fits perfect on my Strat. I just want to mention that a pickguard was not flat. "C" curve area of my pickguard was warped so I had to "heat press" it for few days before installation. But this is a common thing for Fender guitar design. Back in old days, guitar players kept spare picks between pickguard and guitar body not on mic stand.

Comments about ProLine US Strat Pickguard SSS with Back Plate:
It looks nice and I'm glad that the back was shielded. I used this for modifying my American Deluxe HSS strat. I got 3 minihumbuckers and later found out that the screw holes did not line up to the original ones. I didn't want to do anything that couldn't be undone, so there's 2 holes with no screws...

Comments about ProLine US Strat Pickguard SSS with Back Plate:
good product For My MIM Strat. Backing backing plate not as wide as the orginal but all the holes line up. So who is going to know a 1/16" a side diferance in with.
Comments about ProLine US Strat Pickguard SSS with Back Plate:
This pickguard is pretty decent, the pickup holes are slightly smaller than the lace futerliners I put in it, whether or not that is the pickguard or the pickup, I am not sure. This is my only complaint with it. The colors match and it looks great NOT FOR SQUIER. DOES NOT FIT PROPERLY.
Comments about ProLine US Strat Pickguard SSS with Back Plate:
If you are looking to get a nice pick guard with a nice backplate for a good price then this is perfect. It cost $32 to get genuine fender and I would argue that this is the same quality. The black edge contrasts beautifully and matches my guitar great. Highly recommended.
Comments about ProLine US Strat Pickguard SSS with Back Plate:
I put this on my MIM Strat as part of an overall upgrade. This pickguard is great for the price. I really liked the matching back plate. It was a great replacement for the cheap looking single ply plate that came on it originally. The front pickguard actually comes with a thin layer of foil on the back that helps with interference! The quality of the finish was really good. I was worried at first b/c when I pulled the protective plastic sheet off some of the adhesive was left on the back plate, but this rubbed off after a couple of days. All in all I was very pleased with the pickguard. It gives the guitar a little more depth of look.
Comments about ProLine US Strat Pickguard SSS with Back Plate:
I bought this pickguard in 3-ply B/W/B, because I wanted a "black on black" Stratocaster. I also bought the Stratocaster accessory kit (item #420543) so the pickups & knobs would match. It's a new (2009) Mexican made Strat in black with the maple fretboard. The black pickguard is not the right shade of color... it appears lighter. Like a very, very dark grey or something. On the other hand, the pickup covers, knobs, etc. that came with the accessory kit (sold separately) DO match the guitar's finish perfectly. I'll be looking to replace it with a genuine Fender pickguard soon (if I can find one), because it just doesn't look "right."The pickguard holes lined up, and the pickguard fit in with little hassle. But, like some reviewers have mentioned, the back plate was too small.
