Although was initial impression of this tabletop music stand was that it was rather flimsy, I now find that that it is really quite useful. I belong to a ukulele orchestra, and we practice at different homes each week. I see my friends lugging heavy music stands, but I'm able to carry my tabletop stand in a bag with my music. It is light weight (made out of some type of flexible but sturdy material) and, most importantly to me, it holds my iPad in an vertical position so I can play music off of it. In short, for [$], it does what I need it to do, and I find that I use it a lot. [@]

Music stand not stable

I use loose leaf notebooks with various music clubs I attend. This stand simply will not support the weight without toppling over backwards. Best use would be with single sheets of music.

Comments about Prop-It Portable Tabletop Music Stand:

This is exactly what I pictured when ordering, and it works great. Yes, it can slide a bit depending on the surface, but mostly it stays put and holds all my music. I don't have a regular stand for my electric piano, so I had to place it on a long table that makes placing a stand in front of it problematic. This is the solution.

Comments about Prop-It Portable Tabletop Music Stand:

This stand works great for what I needed, something to hold practice materials without being too tall. It holds various books with pages 8.5X11 to 10X12 in size. It fits well in front of my big screen TV that I use for a monitor. The only issue was that it's all plastic, I had assumed it was a metal stand. I'm pretty rough on things so I hope this will last.

Comments about Prop-It Portable Tabletop Music Stand:

Although compact and lightweight, it is not substantial enough to hold my looseleaf notebook of music. It simply collapses under the weight of the book. I want to use it for uke club and dulcimer club jam sessions.

Very stable, becomes even more so when used with heavy book. Perfect for ukulele group when we all sit around a table at rehearsal.

        Great Little Stand

        By

        from Houston, TX

Comments about Prop-It Portable Tabletop Music Stand:

It is strong (with some anti-slip rubber, I use it to hold up a Yamaha MG82 CX mixer or a Boss BR-532 recorder), it folds flat for carrying, it has adjustable music support arms.
I've had mine at least 5 years and it is holding up just fine. The material selection is ideal. It has 0.070 inch thick plastic sheet with metal riviets for long use.
Good materials and a very reasonable profit margin. This is not a throw away item. It is for years of service.

Prop-It Portable Tabletop Music StandAlthough it looks like metal, it isn't. It's made from stiff paper and it put it very frankly...it simply doesn't work. The instructions sticker that came on it doesn't even match the product. Don't waste your money on this item.

        Best for the money!

        By

        from centralia, MO

Comments about Prop-It Portable Tabletop Music Stand:

I have had this nifty little stand for a couple years and have to say it is just NEat. It is cheap in price, fold flat as a magazine, holds an size book, has flip out arms that hold the vertical section of a landscape music book, or to the sides to hold two pages of sheet music. If you wanted to hold four pieces two stands would be ideal. I have folded mine and unfloded it hundreds of times with no breaking of the seams. Get a couple you will love them!

        Cheap, not at all sturdy,

        By

        from Detroit, MI

Comments about Prop-It Portable Tabletop Music Stand:

I used this stand for a year. The lip that holds the music would always slant downward, and the music would slide right off. I would bend the lip up to keep the music on, until the lip bent and broke off rendering the product useless.
