These knobs really do add great looks to a guitar. I have a Trans Blue guitar that had three chrome knobs as standard. Saw these Blue Abalone and chrome knobs here at Musicians Friend and knew they would really add that WOW facgtor to my guitar. The three blue knobs really give my guitar that extra color and customized look. They cant help but add vale to the guitar as well.

Saw these beautiful knobs on another site and thought I would see if Musician's Friend had them. And they did. So I bought several. They really made my guitar stand out. The guitar was trans blue, so I got the blue knobs. I also have a trans red tele and bought the mother of pearl knobs, and man do these knobs really add a touch of individually and class to a guitar. They are a little pricy, but I knew they would just add value to these guitars. They are quick and easy to put on, and comes with the little allen wrench.

This is a high quality, and very handsome product. If you want to add some bling, these knobs will trick your axe out sweetly. The abalone caps on the four knobs I got are gorgeous. highly recommended!

I purchased three of these knobs (one standard and two micro) for project strat that my son and I built. These knobs do look fantastic and the machined metal provides a no-slip grip for precise control. They really standout on the guitar and are quite attractive. However, for the price I would expect greater QC from the manufacturer. Of the three knobs one fit perfectly, one fit loosely, and one fit sloppy loose and that was with inserts in place. Granted, with the set screw they tightened down well enough but come on, they're not building the space shuttle, it should a simple matter to ensure some quality control. These knobs are expensive. If you are building a custom guitar or wanting to personalize an existing guitar to differentiate it from the pack these are a solid choice.

The machining of these knobs are solid however, the fit is not as good as it could be and there seems to be less than optimal quality control. Of the three knobs I purchased, one fit perfectly, one fit loosely, and one was sloppy loose and that was with the inserts in place. For the cost of these knobs there should be more consistent and tighter QC tolerances.
Very nice looking and definitely more eye popping than standard knobs however, they are expensive.

I bought the chrome with blue abalone for my fender jazz bass and they didn't fit. They made it seem that they were pretty universal fit-size

The only thing I don't like about these knobs is that in the picture the black ones look like black chrome instead of flat black, which is what they are. Other than that these knobs are awesome and realy just top off my guitar, a Sector with abolone inlay and Ect. Already.
Comes with Allan wrench. And removable sleeve in case of other sizes

I purchased the Chrome/Blue Abalone version for a G&L Tribute JB-2 natural finish. Easy to install, comes with it's own allen wrench. It certainly adds some character to my JB-2's natural finish. Paired with up with a matching, blue crushed velvet strap and...yeah! Pretty cool. I think Paid too much for the knobs. However, they are (so far) well made and after two weeks of having them on, no issues!

I got the chrome with blue albalone for my metallic blue RRV and even the shop owner that installed them commented on how good they look. The guitar's finish really brought out the swirl but you do need the perfect amount of light to even see the swirls like on the page. Other than that, it was definitely worth it, just to add a bit of spice to your guitar.

Considering they are just guitar knobs and there are not many functions or anything of that nature to them it is hard to find anything wrong with these.I got the gold with natural abalone for my tri-burst schecter C-1 Classic and they look great.The guitar came with gold knobs but these just give it a little extra to look at.They, like I would imagine all replacement knobs, are very easy to install and each one you order comes with an allen wrench.Sure they are a little pricey for replacement knobs but they really are beautiful.
