I own a Traynor Custom Valve 20 (YCV20) combo tube amp and it fits perfectly on the stand. The amp's footswitch jack and power plug socket are above the cross bar on the stand so no problems there.

The stand is adjustable so you can angle your amp however you want. I like to angle it up towards my head (instead of my feet, which have no ears) so I can hear myself better during practices and gigs. It raises the amp about a foot off the floor and pointed up so you and others can hear it better. It's strong and very stable. And it folds flat. Works great for me.

There were several options available on this website and I chose this one because it appeared to be the most rugged and it came in one piece. The only problem with it is that the back support hits the uncovered areas of my Fender DeVille, which is a pretty standard combo. Move it one way and it's pointing to far up, move it the other and it doesn't work. To be fair, I am basing this on my own amp, so it may be great for a closed back cabinet. If you're combo has an open back, this product probably won't work for you.

        Comments about Quik-Lok Double-Brace Low-Profile Amp Stand:

I've gone through at least 3 stands for this same amp that didn't hold up to my needs or hold up my heavy tube amp. This stand keeps the amp secure at nearly any angle you set it. Another plus for this amp stand is the fact you can change the angle easily to fit your needs. The only possible problem some may have is that if you have a large amp and it's open back the back support would not have held the amp. I have a semi closed back 30 watt tube amp with a 15" speaker and weighs at least 40lbs and I'm positive could hold more weight. I've recommended this to everyone that's asked about it and would absolutely buy another if I needed to.

          Comments about Quik-Lok Double-Brace Low-Profile Amp Stand:

My previous keyboard amp stand got destroyed by a mature lady who was over-dancing in my direction, so needed something beefier without being too heavy or complex. This unit seems to fit the bill. My amp is a CenterPoint Stereo SpaceStation V3, laid sideways, so not the average configuration. Very sturdy, not overly bulky or complex. Take a bit of stage space though.

This holds my amp (carvin mico bass MB12). I would personally prefer the stand had a pin/hole design instead of the interlocking teeth. The interlocking teeth is more difficult to work...it isn't bad but I would prefer a more simplistic design.

                  Comments about Quik-Lok Double-Brace Low-Profile Amp Stand:

This is a well built unit but the description; "won't interfere with open back amps" is a bit misleading. It won't "interfere" is not the right word. Not designed for open back amps is more like it. The upper support arm does not connect with the amp at all so I will have to "engineer" some sort of extension that won't look "tacky" but to tell you the truth it stays pretty secure because the back support rails do catch the lower 5 inches of my amp. I bought QuikLok because that name has been around a long time, it seems like a little more engineering like an adjustable upper support arm would be the only thing it needs.

                    Comments about Quik-Lok Double-Brace Low-Profile Amp Stand:

This is a perfect stand for my Fender Blues Deluxe Reissue. Built strong, easy to adjust, and light weight. Problem is, you might pull it out of the box thinking you just have to unfold it, tighten the knob, and you're ready to R&R. That is until after killing your back trying to get the 50# amp on it correctly, you throughly study the picture on th box and notice it's put together wrong (probably to fit the box.). So get out your 1/2" wrench (SAE & made in China?!), undo the 2 bolts, and make it look like the picture. Nope, no instructions or warning tags! You just saved your back and your kids from learning some new words. Perfect angle, no problem with bars hitting open spaces on the back of the amp, and very solid.

I am pleased with this very sturdy amp stand, but it is just barely too small for my Fender Performer 650 combo amp. If you have an amp with an open back then you may want to take some measurements before ordering. In order to feel comfortable having my amp sit on this, I had to extend the back bars a few inches with a little redneck ingenuity.
