I own a Traynor Custom Valve 20 (YCV20) combo tube amp and it fits perfectly on the stand. The amp's footswitch jack and power plug socket are above the cross bar on the stand so no problems there.

The stand is adjustable so you can angle your amp however you want. I like to angle it up towards my head (instead of my feet, which have no ears) so I can hear myself better during practices and gigs. It raises the amp about a foot off the floor and pointed up so you and others can hear it better. It's strong and very stable. And it folds flat. Works great for me.

There were several options available on this website and I chose this one because it appeared to be the most rugged and it came in one piece. The only problem with it is that the back support hits the uncovered areas of my Fender DeVille, which is a pretty standard combo. Move it one way and it's pointing to far up, move it the other and it doesn't work. To be fair, I am basing this on my own amp, so it may be great for a closed back cabinet. If you're combo has an open back, this product probably won't work for you.

    Comments about Quik-Lok Double-Brace Low-Profile Amp Stand:

My previous keyboard amp stand got destroyed by a mature lady who was over-dancing in my direction, so needed something beefier without being too heavy or complex. This unit seems to fit the bill. My amp is a CenterPoint Stereo SpaceStation V3, laid sideways, so not the average configuration. Very sturdy, not overly bulky or complex. Take a bit of stage space though.

    Comments about Quik-Lok Double-Brace Low-Profile Amp Stand:

As a regularly gigging semi-pro guitarist, I've tried many amp stands. I've been using a Musician's Gear Deluxe, purchased from MF a few years back, which I like, but the awkwardly shaped brackets make it a pain to transport. I bought this one, hoping for easier breakdown and stowing.

As advertised, it's very sturdy and folds pretty flat - MUCH easier to carry and pack than the MG stand. I have no fear of my amp falling out or tipping over. The toothed wheels are well made and work as designed to lock the stand in both the open and closed positions.

The downside is that, compared to the MG stand I've become used to, this one is VERY low. The bottom corner of the amp is barely an inch or two above the floor. It's less an "amp stand" than an "amp tilter"... but tilt it does. For my amp (it's a Line 6 Valve), I can't find any way to arrange it except 45 degrees. Thus my amp is essentially a wedge monitor - resting on the stage, angled up at my head. When I mic my cab through the PA, this is OK, but at small venues where we play "amps only", I worry that all my sound is just being absorbed by the ceiling. Neither my bandmates on stage nor the audience are getting much.

I've also found that the upper brace on the back of the stand does have a tendency to slip right into the open slots on the back of my amp, and then it's a big, heavy puzzle to get them apart again.

Recommended provisionally: if you have a closed-back amp that you'd just like to tilt on the floor, this is a great product. If you want your amp up off the stage, this is not the stand you're looking for. Move along.

        Comments about Quik-Lok Double-Brace Low-Profile Amp Stand:

This stand fits my Fender Deluxe Reverb 65 Reissue nicely. The varying angle settings are helpful, especially when performing in tight spaces when you don't have room for a 45+ degree angle. In those circumstances, I adjust the stand for the minimum angle setting, which still benefits by lifting the amp off the floor and raising it up a bit.

I bought this stand for my Blues Junior Nos Comco amp. The fit could could not have been better and it has a very usable adjustment range. It is stable yet easy to transport. I am very pleased with this amp stand.

                Comments about Quik-Lok Double-Brace Low-Profile Amp Stand:

I use it for a Markbass Mini CMD 121P 1x12 Bass Combo Amp so the stand is perfect. It puts the amp at the height and angle to sound great anywhere, and not let the floor/stage become part of acoustics. It doesn't interfere with rear access on my amp, but I imagine it could on some. And if you set it too high it could be a little top heavy on some amps. It's simple to deploy and take down, and folds and transports flat. Simple and top quality, perfect for me. Others have mentioned to beware of the rubber feet slipping off. I agree that a spot of glue will take care of it. Out of all the amp stands I have seen and considered, this one beats them all.

This stand beats the snot out of my cheaper ones. Simple, stable as heck, doesn't draw the eye while in use, and lifts my amp to a usable level while not being "top-heavy". Doesn't rattle. Essentially, functionality perfect.

                    Comments about Quik-Lok Double-Brace Low-Profile Amp Stand:

This is a well made stand. The angle/height is adjustable but is more unstable in the higher position. I purchased this for a Fishman Loudbox Artist, but, some of the Amps rear connections are not accessible when resting against the back bar unless your not using the loop affects. I have purchased 2 very different amp stands from MF but the Fishmans rear connections are hindered by both stands. I do believe these stands are better for taller amps or amps that do not have rear accessory connections. Still a well made product that provides very quick set up and easy transport.
