Boom arm for Keyboard Stand fail

Comments about Quik-Lok SL-827 Microphone Boom Holder for SL-820 Keyboard Stand:

Almost terrible. I can make it work, but it doesn't work well with the Z type stand without getting in the way. Would have been better if it worked with the accessory cross bar, rather than the side bars. I gave it a 2 because it is convenient to have attached right to the stand.
Typical boom arm has some reach. Not enough to give it a 10 but good for Quik Lok Z type stand.
Coupler parts are made of plastic, and will break. Cannot hold a medium weight microphone without falling or slipping.
$24.00, little pricy for what it is, just a boom arm. Steel parts are what is needed, not a light weight boom arm.
