A durable cable that eliminates loud popping noises.
Shrink wrapped Horizon HBGS Quiet Plug Guitar Cable is for more demanding musicians who need a special-switching, 1/4" plug for guitar changes without annoying pops and buzzes.
With a braided shield, the cable is quieter. HBGS cable is clad in black with added strain relief and durability contributed by a heat-shrink polyolefin wrap over the connector barrels. Heat-sealing glue is used between the ground and the conductor to prevent shorting. 20-gauge, 20' guitar cable with 1/4" connectors.

I began using these cables in my living room, with a Tele, Strat, and Precision. In every case, the switching end would back itself out and go intermittant. I thought that standing with it wrapped around the strap would help, but it didn't. I can't really comment on the cable itself as the switching end worked so badly.I see that they are now discontinued. At band rehersal, I plugged into the board and before I could get back to my mike, it was making noise. The only way these can be used, is to replace the switching end. I've seen this feature advertised elsewhere, but the plug is made of machined brass parts which should be much better.
