They provide a very economical yet attractive means for rack mounting audio gear in home studios or smaller installations. Assembly hardware and 11-gauge steel rack rails are provided. I wish they had a 6 space version, and I wish they had a shallower version, but these things are great. I've had a big one for many years and just got two small ones. They are doubling as speaker stands and can easily support any studio speaker.

Came in a box that was ripped open from the delivery I suppose, so that's not Raxxess' fault. But there were no instructions, no papers, no anything. If you are handy I suppose you can figure it out, but it was a little disappointing after spending money on a product. Also, they dont include rack space screws, so that sucks. Anyways, seems solid, just be warned you get only the bare minimum.

Exactly what i needed. The different sizes means you can isolate power groups, EQ groups etc. and arrange/stack them.
No problem building it with easy to follow instructions.

Overall I'm happy with these racks. I would suggest haveing a set of threaded taps just in case you run into the same problem I did. You'll also want a good drill to help fully seat the screws.

They all look good and are very sturdy for heavy amps. I have had a few problems with the rails not being fully threaded for rack screws.
For something you have to assemble, it should be cheaper.

Yes, a good deal for something so simple, but this rack comes as 4 boards and a bag of screws... the only thing missing is a note that says "good luck!". Unless you have power tools, this is almost impossible to assemble.also, it woul dbe nice to have some tic marks, or pre-drilled holes for where the actual rack mounts to the boards.Cheap, useful, but should have been pre-assembled.

We have purchased 4 of these racks over the past few years. We love every one of them, and just needed more as we acquired more equipment. These are excellent if you are expecting them to hold gear in one location. If you are planning on moving the equipment regularly, these are not for you.

I purchased the 16 space rack and it's awesome. All the screw holes were pre-drilled which made it easy to assemble. The only downside is it didn't come with screws to mount equipment on. No big deal, musiciansfriend sells them for a good price.
