Red Strings

Add some warmth to your sound.

This is the first brand of copper/bronze acoustic guitar strings. These strings contain the highest copper content of any acoustic guitar string—more than 80/20, more than phosphor bronze. Red Strings provide precise articulation, louder sound, great projection, and a warmer richer tone from the moment you tune them up. There hasn't been a significant new material introduced for acoustic guitar strings in 35 years... until now!

Features

Try the strings with the largest copper content.

The low E and A and the B and high E are fine BUT the D was dull and the G was dead. I took them off and well never buy RED strings again.

Red Medium Strings

By Jimmie Gregg

from Texas

Comments about Red Strings Copper Bronze Acoustic Guitar Strings - Medium:

I just put a set of Red Medium Strings on my Taylor. So far so good. The sound is amazing. After all the years of playing Bluegrass and never straying from Martin Strings, I gave it a whirl and very impressed. But, guess we'll know more after the first show.

Not very good.

By Stroker-Red

Comments about Red Strings Copper Bronze Acoustic Guitar Strings - Medium:

I bought these strings just to try them out. I'm always trying new strings on my D-28. These were just bad strings. The G was dead from as soon as I put them on. The A string broke on the first gig, in the first set. The A string! Nearly impossible to break. I should just stick to my Martin SP's, I always come back to them.
