Great for hot playing that keeps the volume cool.

Grip Thai Sticks from Regal Tip are made from birch dowels glued together with a reinforced mesh material for extra durability. They feature a vacuum-formed rubber grip. Grip Thai Sticks are great to play when you want a fuller sound without blowing through the rest of the band. Thai Sticks feel strong in your hand and are perfect for any musical situation where a drumstick is too loud and a brush is too soft.

Regal Tip Thai Sticks

Comments about Regal Tip Grip Thai Sticks:

The only negative thing I found with the Thai Stick is Regal Tip uses epoxy/glue from the middle of the exposed dowels to the black wrap material which makes the overall stick fairly 'stiff ' in my opinion. Less glue would make the dowels fan-out a little more.I dont know if this manufacturing process is common or perhaps I have a factory defect.
Im a new member of Regal Tip drumstick users including their Thai Sticks.I use these for low volume settings. Its amazing how many different sounds you can get by hitting various parts of the drumkit with these. My favorite is the VERY fat snare drum sound you get from using the rubber butt-end of these sticks
Second 2 none
Worth every penny

Comments about Regal Tip Grip Thai Sticks:

I really love these for songs that require a softer touch. I've tried different brands, but these seem to be the more durable of the bunch. Another brand (with yellow handles and a foam core) are junk and don't last long at all.

So, depending on what application you need these for, and I can only speak on what I use them for (softer rock, blues, etc songs), go with this brand.
