Comments about Regal Tip Jeff Hamilton Signature Brushes:

I play with a low volume jazz quartet...but some of the rooms we play require us to play a bit louder to be heard over the audience. I saw that these brushes had thicker wires and were claimed to be louder than normal brushes. This is exactly what I experienced. The brushes sounded nice on my drums and also sounded great on cymbals with a bit more 'definition'. I just needed to get used to the fact that the wire are stiffer due to the thickness but that didn't take long.

Comments about Regal Tip Jeff Hamilton Signature Brushes:

Yes, I'm a big fan of Hamilton, but regardless, after trying about a dozen other brushes, these are the go-to set, they just feel right and seem like they'll last given typical Regal Tip quality.

Comments about Regal Tip Jeff Hamilton Signature Brushes:

Awesome Brushes! The feel of them is great and the bristles (wires) are not too stiff or too soft, they are just right. The handle adjustment for the spread of the wires is nice and smooth also.
These are very well designed brushes. You can't go wrong with these!
Could be a little less money but well worth it!

Comments about Regal Tip Jeff Hamilton Signature Brushes:

The Jeff Hamilton Brushes are designed great they are comfortable and fell good.
The wires are just right not to soft and not to hard like some others that I have had in the past. The handle adjustment for the wires is smooth. You can't go wrong with the JH brushes a little pricey but well worth it!

Comments about Regal Tip Jeff Hamilton Signature Brushes:

These have a heavier wire and give a crisp pop on the skins or the cymbols. My regular all time favorites are the Pro mark TB-4 but these have more punch and pop when more volume is needed. They aren't too stiff as some are but just perfect and the rubber coated handles feel great in my hands. These are easy and smooth when retracting back into the handles. Great brushes!

Comments about Regal Tip Jeff Hamilton Signature Brushes:

These brushes match the Musicians Friend description perfectly. Slightly thicker wire yields a slightly bolder sound. They won't replace my go-to standard Regal Tip brushes on all tunes, but I do like the variety in sound they will offer when I want it. I like that the brushes do not retract all the way into the handle, leaving just about 1/8" protruding, so that the bristles can not get stuck in the handle over time. BTW - sometimes I carry my brushes extended in my stick bag, keeping them in the tube. A very good brush IMO.
