Comments about Rhythm Band ChromAharP Strings:

Actually one string unwound at the eyelet while tuning and another string broke before getting up to tone. Fortunately they could be replaced with mandolin strings of the right guage.

Comments about Rhythm Band ChromAharP Strings:

The hardest part was trying to get the ball end to set in. The ball was twice as large as the old strings. I had to modify the string by bending it to make it fit. a couple of the high note strings broke when tunning them. Again i had to modify. Just be sure that you leave enough length on the string before you cut them, in case of a break. Other then that they went on easy. I removed and replaced one at a time. so as not to relieve to much pressure on the top.It sounds much better now. I just purchased the harp so I amagine the strings may be origanal from the 1970's.At any case it sounds much better and has good sustain, on that final cord.
