The one I received didn't fit the Epiphone Caballero I bought from Musicians Friend ,also it had a factory defect the neck part of the bag was twisted ... Not sewn together right ..Nice strong material. For entry level gig bag , I returned it and Musicians Friend helped me get a Better case for my Caballero ..I ordered the Silver Creek vintage Archtop 000 Auditorium case ..will get it on 9/8/14 I hope it fits ...P.S I didn't recommend it for a friend because it's more of a " keep at home" or gig bag for a cheaper guitar or for starting musicians ...not for Expensive Guitars I hope this helps thanks

Good Value

Comments about Road Runner Express Acoustic Guitar Gig Bag:

The cover fabric is strong, the padding is pretty good, more than I was expecting, but not quite like really good but much more expensive gig bags. The zippers seem to be good, strong quality. It is as big as advertised. I like the backpack straps, they are good quality. I would feel alright about bringing my guitar to a gig with this bag. I'd be careful though, since no bag is as strong as a hard case.
A pretty good gig bag for the price.

    Uncomfortable to carry

    By G&V

    About Me Professional Musician

    Pros

    • Heavy-duty Fabric
    • Well-padded

    Cons

    • Barely Fits Dreadnought
    • Hard Plastic Handle
    • No Padding On Straps
    • Small Pocket

    Best Uses

    • Walking Or Biking

Comments about Road Runner Express Acoustic Guitar Gig Bag:

I bought this to replace an Excel bag that had great features but had a cheap zipper that didn't last long. This bag appears to be heavier-duty overall—the zippers looks better than the Excel bag had, but we'll see how it holds up. The material is heavier and the padding is thicker than my old bag. What I don't like is that it's not as comfortable to carry. The carry handle is hard plastic, and the shoulder straps are straight and have no padding—much less comfortable to wear than my Excel bag, which had shaped and padded shoulder straps and a padded handle.

It's a very tight fit for my dreadnought, which makes me a little concerned about zipper life. It would work better for smaller bodied guitars.

The large pocket is just a bit too small to carry regular size music books and folders—a thoughtless mistake that could easily have been avoided.

Comments about Road Runner Express Acoustic Guitar Gig Bag:

I had hoped this bag would have more rigidity and padding than it does - maybe I was expecting too much for the price? I still think it's a very nice bag, lightweight, easy to carry - but would be cautious about using it in any situation where it could get tossed around a bit, squeezed in with other instruments, etc.

Comments about Road Runner Express Acoustic Guitar Gig Bag:

Just bought a nice acoustic. Purchased what I thought would be a minimally protective gig bag. It wasn't. When you bumped the back end of the guitar on something, you could hear the guitar strings react. This Roadrunner Bag is much better. More padding. I don't do live gigs as much as I used to, but feel comfortable to transport my acoustic in this gig bag.

Comments about Road Runner Express Acoustic Guitar Gig Bag:

I have a case for my bass from this company and it is a rigid soft case that I trust protecting my guitar but this case came folded in half in the box which for me was like many other guitar bags that I don't trust for protection, especially for an acoustic instrument.
