The positives to this case are that it's hard, and will hold basically any shape of bass. It's pretty nice no matter what you're looking to put in there. It also has some compartments that you can fit a lot of accessories in. The negatives are that it's not very durable, I really don't take my bass many places, I just store it in the case. My band practices at my house most of the time. But from the few times I've carried this around, the latches have bent a bit, and the key lock is just broken; it was pretty flimsy to begin with. Also, as you can see in the picture there are two nylon straps that hold the lid up when you open it, one of those snapped because it's just loosely glued to the shell of the case, so if you leave it open while you play it breaks. But if you're looking for a place to set your bass away from the commotion of your house, and the dust, this is a good cheap buy.
I started playing bass in a band and needed a sturdy case for my beautiful 6 string so it wouldn't get all banged up. I was looking at an SKB but the neck slot wouldn't fit the width of a 6 string so I looked at this one and with the velcro that holds the neck in place, I feel that my bass is safe. The exterior is durable but I feel that the metal parts such as the locks and the trim could be a bit better. The first show I used this at, the top side(where the head is) got misaligned but it's not too bad I guess. Overall, this is a good case; protects my bass and has plenty of room for a long scale bass with a 4 on top headstock(whereas mine is 3/3). This is a sturdy case, I don't ever worry about my bass falling out or anything.
