The first thing to note is this bag is likely not large enough for a larger dreadnaught or jumbo guitar. A 16" lower bout width will be the max this bag can handle.Having made that point...This is the sturdiest bag I found in this price range. I built a high-quality deep body OM guitar (like a deep Martin 000) and this bag is perfect. I could not find a hard or poly foam case to fit it, so I chose this bag after looking at many.It has good padding all the way around and a pretty beefy zipper. The extra pockets are handy. One can stash the standard goodies or use them to provide even more padding if you feel it necessary to protect your baby. I gave it 4.5s because, as a admitted guitar snob, I'm not a huge fan of gig bags. But it is a good, solid bag offering good protection.

Learn from my mistake, and buy a hard case or a gig bag with some support for your guitars shape. I can bend this bag in half with no resistance at all. That is not how you want to treat an instrument, please consider spending a little more money for a case.
Yes, there are lots of pockets to hold your accessories, but there is no support in this case for keeping its shape. If you overstock the front pocket, all the pressure of its contents will be putting tons of pressure on the guitar's body. The padding works alright, but do not make this tradeoff
The Zipper handles on mine both snapped off from regular use. Never have I had a zipper break on anything from clothes to backpacks
You can do better, even if you have just a little money to spend, do NOT risk this purchase no matter what the other reviews say, This case single handedly cracked the front of my guitar from putting too much of my gear into the front pocket.

Comments about Road Runner Roadster Acoustic Guitar Gig Bag:

I've owned & used this case for approx 5 yrs for my Taylor 414ce as the Taylor Hard Shell Case can get heavy to carry around. This case has pretty good padding and pockets for extra strings, capo, etc. Pockets are not large enough to carry music, but you can't do that with a hard shell case either. Handles are comfortable. The handle near the neck is a nice feature & comes in handy

My only complaint is the back pack style straps. Straps could be positioned better so that the case sits lower when it's strapped on your back. Most often you'll hit the top of doorways, train doors, etc. or hanging lights in a room with lower ceilings. This is not a deal breaker for me as I just take it off ( here is where the second handle near the neck area comes in handy).

Overall I give it five stars (even with the back pack style strap issue)

Comments about Road Runner Roadster Acoustic Guitar Gig Bag:

I recently bought this gig bag for my daughter's Rogue RA 090 dreadnought acoustic. It fit, though I admit the guitar's more compact bout size (16") was probably a factor.

It serves it's purpose nicely at this price point as a travel gig bag. It's easy on the eyes, well padded and (I hope, as I haven't fully tested it) rain resistent.

However in the NYC subway, with low ceilings, overhangs, entry ways, etc. I had no choice but to resort to holding it by the handles instead of the shoulder straps because I kept brushing and bumping it with the ceiling too often for my liking. The straps just sit too uncomfortably low. I also wish it had at least ONE pocket large enough to comfortably fit her music books/sheet music.

Other than that I and my daughter rather like it so far.

    Good bag

Comments about Road Runner Roadster Acoustic Guitar Gig Bag:

This is an excellent gig bag for a dreadnought acoustic guitar. Some of the reviews are misleading. It does fit a normal size dreadnought. It gives as much protection as you can get with a bag. It is very well padded that being said it is a bag not a case. If you want maximum protection look for a hardshell case.

    Really Nice Gig Bag

Comments about Road Runner Roadster Acoustic Guitar Gig Bag:

I bought the Roadster Acoustic Guitar Gig Bag (my first "bag") because I have been getting mobile with my acoustic guitars lately and I was getting tired of hauling around the clunky hard shell cases from my Ovations to like parks and on trips, etc.... I will sacrifice the hard case protection for the ease of travel. After all I bought my guitars to use and this will work nicely for that. And yes it does fit both my full body Ovations, not sure why the other reviewer couldn't fit his. It even fits the 12 string model. I will be buying the 3/4 size bag when my 8 year old daughter gets her 3/4 Small Les Paul Express for Christmas.
The features are good. Lots of pockets, back pack straps. I only gave it for stars cause I would have liked to see it come with a shoulder strap as well and also a big pocket to hold a music book.
The quality is very good. Heavy construction and lots of padding. The zippers are heavy duty and it seems like an overall nice bag.
Cost-wise I thought it was fair compared to the quality of the bag.

This is a bag of crap

    By Frank Silano

Comments about Road Runner Roadster Acoustic Guitar Gig Bag:

I just bought this case brand new for my Breedlove and as I unzipped it for the first time the seam that holds the pouch on one of the sides completely let go. I can pull the puch right off of the case just by tugging on it lightly with two fingers. STAY AWAY!!! Hopefully I will be able to get a refund because I do not want to exchange it for another one.

    Good Gig Bag, but

    By Guitar Lover-dd-gV

    from Chicago, IL

Comments about Road Runner Roadster Acoustic Guitar Gig Bag:

It is a good gig bag with a lot of pockets. But my ovation guitar does not fit in it. This bag is only good for small-size acoustic guitars, electric or bass guitars. It is not for a normal size acoustic guitar.

    Worth the extra ten

    By GuitarVlog-wWr0m

Comments about Road Runner Roadster Acoustic Guitar Gig Bag:

This case has extra pockets and the backpack straps slip into a pocket of their own. The handle grips are very comfortable. Padding is thicker and it fits my Yamaha FG730S nice and snug so it doesn't go moving around inside.
