This is just what the doctor ordered for my problem. I had previously been using multiple, individual guitar stands for my guitars at home when I practice. I would sit them flush to the wall but my one problem cat kept slipping behind them and knocking over my guitars. With this ingenious case/stand the stand has a hard back that sits flush to the wall and unlike the Roadrunner 7 Guitar Flight Stand Case, it also has sides that prevent my cats from entering or damage from the sides as well. The top has individual slots for each guitar with a buckled strap that you buckle to hold the guitar in From the top. Then on the bottom are several individual foam pieces with velcro that are the width of the case that you place on each side of the bottom of your guitar to keep it steadied from the bottom. So anyone that has storage or protection issues in their practice area or even a gig I think this would be ideal.

This is perhaps the worst built guitar stand/holder I have ever seen. I bought this item brand new. At my very first gig with it, I put 6 guitars in it. The VERY FIRST time I unsnapped on of the snaps, the snap broke off! A minute later, I unsnapped a second snap, and it, too, BROKE! I strongly recommend that you stay away from this product altogether. It is completely unreliable, and if you have valuable guitars (as I do), you cannot trust that the snaps will hold, and your guitars could come falling out and get damaged. I returned it the next day. I wish I could give it ZERO stars, but apparently that is not a choice.

I use it on live gigs.
        It's sets up fast.
Guitars are held in secur with provided strap snapped in place. It's a great guitar stand for the money.
I don't have any consideration to list.

Comments about Road Runner RRGS6 6 Guitar Stand Case:

I've had my eye on this product for quite some time and with my guitar collection growing and my music room running out of space for individual stands I figured I'd pull the trigger. I also really liked the idea of my guitars being closed in on three sides around the bodies. I had read some of the other reviews about it being cheaply made and that it offered questionable stability, however I still decided to give it a chance.

          Pros:
          - The rack is very compact, it folds down into its flight case and offers easy transport.
          - Has enough room for two acoustic guitars and four electrics.
          - Was able to hold up in the wind at the gig I brought it to with 5 guitars.
          - Easy set up and tear down.

          Cons:
          - Cheap build materials, the flight case is very thin, seems like a single sheet of thin plywood. The carpeting on the inside is very thin and there is carpet adhered to carpet so it's loose and doesn't stick the best. The guitar stand part of the rack itself is made of flimsy plywood and you can flex the top with the press of your finger.
          - Cheap tolex on the outside, after one gig there is already dents and peeling parts of the tolex on the flight case.
          - On the neck notches of the stand there are places where the plywood on the edges is sharp and it's only a matter of time before that rips through the carpet and scratches a guitar.

          Overall:
For a rack that cost over a hundred, I expected something better than this cheaply built rack. Right now I would only recommend it for small gig or studio use. I have mine setup in my music room and that may be where it stays. It does have good overall stability but the stability of the wood used for the stand and the case is extremely questionable. Overall I wouldn't recommend this to a friend, I would look at possibly RR's metal rack or something by Hercules. It just seems like a matter of time that when I'm assembling or disassembling that I'm going to break one of the hinges (one already may be bent) or snap the plywood.

Comments about Road Runner RRGS6 6 Guitar Stand Case:

This is a pretty good case for the price I paid, it holds 6 guitars or basses no problem. The only reason it's not 5 stars is that the padding where the necks meet the case is very thin, and the snaps on the straps keeping the necks in place are difficult to snap into place sometimes. Otherwise everything seems stable for home use. I'm not sure if this would stand up to gigging long term.

Comments about Road Runner RRGS6 6 Guitar Stand Case:

The case does its job and has a good price. It does feel like its a little cheap, has some odd looking craftsmanship in places, and one of the strap's buttons broke the second time I used it. But it still serves my needs.

Straight out of the box a snap broke. Rather than go thru the process and hassle of sending it back etc....I will just live with it. I had read a couple of reviews that this is an issue. That being said, have used it in a couple of rehearsals and 1 show. Holds guitars well. I have 2 double necks that I use and there is not an issue.
