Comments about Rock N Roller R12 Multi-Cart 8-in-1 Equipment Transporter Cart With Deck and Shelf:
Once you get this up and running it's a good cart. But guys at the Rock N Roller company: please invest in some equipment that allows you to: 1. Drill the correct hole size, 2. Measure Correctly. Wow.
The tool list to assemble says: Hammer, Channel Lock Pliers and 1/2 end wrench or socket.
To that I'd add the following:
1. Sandpaper,
2. Dremel tool, fully charged with a full complement of attachments,
3. Screwdriver,
4. WD-40,
5. extremely large size channel lock
6. Magnifying glass.
It would also help if you are a mind reader as there are several parts included with no explanation. My favorite are the plastic washers that come in the package. Not sure where they go. There is a "circle" floating in air in the drawing, which I think is supposed to be the washer, and I think it's supposed to go between the wheel and the frame, but, with the "drawing" they provide, it's anyone's guess.
How long do you think it should take to attach 4, assembled, wheels? Maybe 15 minutes? Maybe a half hour? It took me 3 hours. Of course most of the time was spent searching for Dremel parts, charging the dremel and then grinding away metal so pins would fit into the holes. Forget about using sandpaper as you're talking some heavy work here. The sandpaper is just for cleaning up the sharp ends.
The carpeted deck bottom wood blocks that are designed to hold it in place were so far off, that you would either have to remove the carpeting and re-drill and re-fasten the pieces, or cut off about 1/4" on each side to have it fit. I decided to just send it back.
This is my second Rock N Roller Cart. I wish there was a company that made a better product, but I haven't been able to find it. So, I have to live with it. But if there was one of better quality I would ditch the Rock N Roller in a heartbeat.
Comments about Rock N Roller R12 Multi-Cart 8-in-1 Equipment Transporter Cart With Deck and Shelf:
If the wheels where made out of steal and rubber, I would give it a 10
Very easy to break down into a small space.
Excellent quality all around except the cheap plastic wheels.
It is a great cart that does a lot, but over priced.
