I bought this for a Epi Casino trying to get into a vintage vibe. The strap itself is just like all other leather straps - good quality, and made of soft suede leather - dyed black on top, tan/natural on the underside. For the price it's an excellent buy.One thing that was a slight downer was that within a few minutes of trying it out while wearing a black shirt, I was finding myself de-linting my shirt as there was leather fuzz left over. I've since de-linted the strap itself, and took a lighter to the fuzz to burn it off. Bits n pieces show up periodically but it isn't bad.I've been rotating this between the hollow body and my Taylor acoustic, and for strummy or acoustic fingerpicking it isn't bad, but 51.5 inches is not very long. I'm 5'11" and relatively thin, and fully extended it sits high on me, even on my Telecaster. If you are trying to be James Hetfield or Zach Wylde and wear your guitar around your knees, this strap will not do it. Buy the Levy's adjustable black leather strap. I have two of the 3 inch wides and they're great, but its also 3 times this price. I have three acoustics and I wouldn't hesitate to buy a second one of these for its use, but for my PRS & Les Paul, which I like to wear low, I use the Levy's strap.
