Let me start by saying that if you plan on using this stand in your home or studio and don't plan on moving it from it's place in said room than it's a good stand and is worth it's money. But if you plan on gigging with this stand like I have it's not worth the money. I've had the stand for a year and the foam is already beat up, which isn't that big of a deal since it's just plumbing tubing insulation so it can be replaced easily, but the idea that if you have a guitar with the jack on the side like a tele or les paul, the jack ends up gashing the foam. Also some things that bother me about this stand is the fact that when carrying it you have to carry it just right, so that it is some what comfortable to carry, and so that it doesn't just flop open causing even more discomfort when carrying it with guitars/amps/pedal boards. What would make this stand better would be to have a latch of some sort to keep the stand in its folded position while carrying it, and some heavier duty foam. Also as a guitarist that gigs out at least twice a week (not including practices) the last thing that bothers me is the fact that if you have an acoustic with the jack in the end strap pin you have to unplug your guitar every time you put it into the stand or else the guitar is not stable enough to sit there with out falling over. I realize this is a problem that you'd get in the briefcase style stands as well, but I highly suggest that you pay the extra money to get briefcase style stands. It will last longer, gives you a good extra storage place for cables, and is much much easier to carry. Also something to keep in mind is that this stand works best with 2 guitars not 3!! With three guitars on the stand there is lots of knocking around when taking guitars off and putting them back on the stand. Because of all of these annoyances I'm going to keep this stand just in my room and buy the briefcase style 5-guitar stand to gig with so I will have a space in between the 3 guitars I gig with.

My wife ordered this for me as a Christmas gift. The first thing I notices was how small, thin and flimsy the materials were, and the unit did not at all match what was shown in the picture. One of the plastic feet had broken off in transport, but I didn't feel like spending the money to send it back for that, so I went ahead and assembled it.

Within the first couple of weeks of just sitting in my living room with a few guitars in it, one of the short neck holders fell off, then the entire top neck-bar assembly fell apart. The folding screws have to be tightened after every gig, or they fall out from folding the unit.

In use, I have to be very careful not to disrupt the neck holding area, because when it comes apart, the guitars fall over. In addition, the plastic caps at the end of the short neck bars catch on your strings and pop off, so be careful with them, too.

Extremely disappointed in this piece of garbage. I've seen others that are far more solid, but again, I was surprised that the unit I received was not the one shown in the picture. Same company, same label, but an entirely different assembly.

My wife couldn't find the receipt. Otherwise I would have returned it by now. It's only four months old.

Comments about RockStand by Warwick 3-Guitar Folding Stand:

This would appear to me to be designed by and made by different people than those who made my Warwick 5 guitar stand. (That stand appears to be no longer available but is much like the 7 instrument stand--SKU #455002000000000.) I am pleased with it and have had it for over 6 years. It has a better design and is much more stable than this 3 guitar stand. My 3 guitar stand came with no instructions (fortunately easy to figure out) and missing a coule pieces of hardware. I would only recommend it for use in a safe home environment where there is not much traffic past your instruments. I do not think it would be of any value for gigging. A bit disappointed.

Not as stable as I'd like it to be. Have to be careful when putting a guitar on it or taking one off to make sure the others do not fall. :(

I have an older version of this stand that I really like, so when I needed a second stand I ordered this. I was disappointed to see that it is smaller and flimsier than the previous version. One of the dividers on the top crosspiece was wobbly, and when I pulled the foam off to inspect I saw that the metal core was rusty and loose. I just don't trust it for gigs, will relegate it to home use.

              good for the money

Comments about RockStand by Warwick 3-Guitar Folding Stand:

i needed a 3-guitar stand that wouldn't take up space and didn't want to spend too much. this did the job. HOWEVER, one of things that caught my eye at first about this stand, was the circular padded round base. the model I recieved is 2 straight foam padded tubes, not the one pictured on this page.
holds my one electric, one bass, and one acoustic guitar. bumping guitars is easy if you're not careful.
not the heaviest-duty stand, but doesn't need to be.
i think 50 dollars would be a modest price for this stand.

              Solid Stand

Comments about RockStand by Warwick 3-Guitar Folding Stand:

I've had this stand for a few months now and it has been great since the day I got it. What I like about it, and what some don't like, is that the guitar and strings indent into the foam. It basically makes a solid molding around the parts touching the foam and therefore stays sturdy. I actually didn't order this from this webstie, I picked it up in a store, but my hardware was in the bag and all the pieces were wrapped without and scratches like how some others weren't. My best setup I have had was one Strat, one Les Paul, and one acoustic. But, I bought another acoustic so I moved my Les Paul out and put in the acoustic. And it fits fairly well, obviously very snug having the other acoustic there. So now I have one Strat, one Martin acoustic, and one Ibanez acoustic and it's working, so this stand is very versatile and can hold many combinations of guitars. I love mine, minus a few things, but I recommend it to everyone.

Comments about RockStand by Warwick 3-Guitar Folding Stand:

While this unit isn't designed for Rocket Surgery, there are several minor design flaws that could use room for improvement. The clearances allowed between guitars is obviously designed for solid body electric guitars, three acoustics or hollow bodies won't fit without banging into each other.Mine arrived with the bag of hardware spilled into the box and several screws missing. Once I found replacement screws of the same make and size, the unit wouldn't sit flat on any floor and the uprights were twisted.Overall, the unit does seem sturdy enough to withstand the rigors of travel, but I truly prefer my old-style triple stand much better.

i bought it because allot of my friends have been giving me guitars and i didn't have room for all. the only thing i have a problem with is the foam padding it got worn out quickly especially from my bass because its so heavy so i just took some old socks and wraped them around the bottom. other than that it was easy to build, very sturdy

Comments about RockStand by Warwick 3-Guitar Folding Stand:

A great stand for your guitars....if you have "traditional-shaped" guitars. Any other guitar considered "pointy" will not work good. No Flying V's, Kellys, Rhoads, Warlocks, Dimebags, etc. will sit properly on this stand. But if your axes are standard shapes like Strats and Les Pauls, this stand is awesome. Looks good and works great. Don't try a "pointy" guitar on it though.
