It came with one stripped nut, and had some trouble lining everything up during assemble. I found a replacement nut around my house that fixed the problems fine. Other than assembly this works great it holds my fender mex. strat, carvin, epiphone special II, and yamaha accoustic fine I would say I could fit one more electric guitar on it but not another accoustic. You have to be carefull when taking guitars out or puting them away. It's this or you can buy 5 individual stands and take up all your floor/stage space.Another thing I like is it keeps everything in order so I am not tripping over them since I do have a fairly small amount of space when you factor in all the amps and things I have in my studio/practice room.Overall good investment, for a practice room or studio

I'm incredibly disappointed in this stand. I was able to compare this stand back to back with an older model by the same maker. This new stand is awful! The slot bar that holds the guitars at the neck is almost 90degrees which does not allow for a sturdy lean for your interments. The two bars at the base where the body of your instruments sit is too narrow, again not allowing for a sturdy resting position. The slots are about an inch too narrow, so if you have a few acoustic guitars, forget it...they bump into each other and are difficult grab easily. The construction is awful, none of the screw holes are threaded. It's basically an arrangement of flimsy pipe tubing wrapped in foam and held together with tin screws. I definitely won't trust this stand to hold my guitars.

The older version of this stand is really nice and stable. I was under the impression I was getting the exact same stand. In fact, all the pictures on the box as well as the write up on the side are describing the older stand. Absolutely misleading. Apparently they cheapened the quality of their product without passing the savings on to the user.

Comments about RockStand by Warwick 5-Guitar Folding Stand:

Not bad if you don't have to take it on the road. The quality is close to the higher priced brand. The main disappointment was missing hardware to attach the bottom support bars. A trip to the hardware store problem solved.

Very disappointed in this stand. I bought this originally about a year ago from musicians friend, and was surprised how poor quality it was. None of the hardware(nuts/bolts) fit and threading was off. one of the pieces was bent and wouldn't align properly. I called mf and they sent me a replacement. It wasn't much better, but somehow was able to assemble it into something use-able. Well, mine just broke today. Not sure I want to bother trying to fix it.

Can't express how poor quality this item is. Should not be sold on here.

This product is no longer the same as the picture. Mine would not assemble properly and MF allowed me to return it. The old Warwick 5 guitar stand has been a faithful companion for years in my home and also traveled well to larger gigs needing multiple axes.

                      Just barely meets expectations

Bending/manipulating required to assemble due to welding. Assembly instructions are at times vague enough to delay the process of setting it up.Diagram pictures in assembly manual don't illustrate clearly what the technical writing is describing due to poor angles and monochrome printing. Price is about the cost of buying 5 individual stands anyway. The weight of your instruments in the x-axis is mostly supported by two screws. I'm not sure how well it will hold up over time (speculation on my behalf). It does the job. It's not exceptional - it does not exceed my expectations. The cost and craftsmanship barely meet my satisfaction - but meet it does.

                      Poor workman ship

                      By Ryan-zovCw

Comments about RockStand by Warwick 5-Guitar Folding Stand:

I had the 5 stand pictured a while back when they first started to become more popular. It was perfectly fine with some of the minor technical flaws already mentioned in previous reviews (Foam will wear in the shape of heavier electrics, not all 5 acoustics will fit). Due to special circumstances I moved across the country so I flew instead of drove and I shipped some stuff but I gave this item away. This was a mistake because originally I just planned on buying another one (the 3 size) when I got to my destination and apparently I got lucky the first time because the workman ship on these stands are anything BUT worth paying anymore than 1/4 the original price. The welding is completely off center so the folding arms are not at all flush with the base pieces even with the help of bending which shouldn't be necessary in the first place. Machined holes don't line up and I know I'm building it perfectly. I am now returning my 2nd 3-guitar stand... (I swapped out the first messed-up one which I bought at a local guitar store only to start building one that was in worse shape.) And now that I see other peoples similar reviews, I think since I bought the first one about 3 or 4 years back, Warwick's craftsmanship and reliability for this particular item have dropped to considerably less.Don't buy this only to be disappointed. I hope Warwick sees these reviews and fixes the major issues because this was a very useful stand in it's proper state.

it's a very well built Stand.Nice folding feature. Ample space for the guitars. BUT be gentle with the foam padding. It can get ripped easily.

Comments about RockStand by Warwick 5-Guitar Folding Stand:

As some others have written in their reviews: you do not get what's in the picture. When I opened the box, the cheap bag that the screws were in looked like it had disintegrated and the parts were all over the place. There was one missing nut so I had to improvise. Some of the pieces also did not align properly and I had to force and bend them a little to get the screws to go into their holes. The metal pieces are square (not round as pictured), and I've noticed in the one week that I've owned this stand that there is the very real potential that the square edges are going to cause damage to my and my band's guitars. The neoprene foam starts to crush under the weight of the guitars after a while and leaves little protection from the square corners. The only thing I could recommend is: DO NOT LEAVE YOUR GUITARS ON THE STAND FOR A LONG TIME. Limited use should keep from crushing the foam too much. This would have been a great stand if it was what is in the picture.

I had been wanting one of these for awhile and after finally getting one, I have to say I'm very happy with it. Easy to assemble, sturdy, and all the pieces that your guitars rest on are covered in foam. I do think the price is a little high though.

                      not for five acoustics

Comments about RockStand by Warwick 5-Guitar Folding Stand:

Easy and quick to assemble -- tools included, which was nice. Padding is OK. It will hold five solid body electrics with no problem, but acoustics pretty much take up two spaces unless you want to be constantly bumping them together. Right now mine is maxed out with an acoustic, a resonator banjo and a solid body electric. Still, better than individual stands scattered around the room getting knocked over. No wall space, so this is best for my money.
