This is the classic rogue guitar tool kit. It's the second one I've owned in the last 8 years. (I lost the first one a couple years ago) It has some cool stuff for about the price you would pay for a string winder alone at your local music store. The strings are of course crap, but you never know when that E is gonna break on ya. The screwdrivers are poor quality but could be useful if you forgot your tools at a gig. It's deffinatly worth ten bucks. Give it a try.

I play a 7ender jazz bass. Most people play 7ender or 7ender inspired (and copied) instruments...ALMOST EVERY PRODUCT ON THE MARKET USES THOSE HARDWARE PIECES AS THE STANDARD.The allen wrenches DO NOT FIT in the bridge or neck, MAKING THIS KIT USELESS FOR SETTING UP MY BRIDGE OR TRUSS ROD.Also, the slotted screwdriver is just too big to fit into the small spaces that a little slotted screwdriver would best tackle...LIKE ELECTRONICS.Sure, the pieces are all good quality, the case is a really nice touch and the price seems right but it's a waste of time.Spend the extra money on a higher-end product.I live in Canada and it costs more to ship back than the refund would be.

Great!

I bought this a long while back. It really works amazingly especially for the price. I went to Canada on a mission trip and the TSA wouldn't let me keep the cutters, screwdrivers or allen wrenches, so all I have left is the string winder, but for a little piece of plastic it works great. And now I am buying another (just not gonna take it on an airplane).

useful little thing

By Jon-JV_s0

I bought this thing about a year ago and it was a very smart purchase. I took out the strings and put in a few picks and a planet waves S.O.S tuner (another great thing by the way). the only flaw is that the side cutters will probably need sharpened after about 4-6 string changes. Also the bridge pin remover on the winder doesn't work very well but thats not a problem as it also comes with a flathead wich works just fine.

Handy little kit.

This a very usefull little tool kit the pouch is of good quality and keeps things from getting lost. the screw drivers and wrenches are not the best quality but more than capable.all you really need to add is some more allen wrenches.not for a guitar technician but great for the every day person plus it will fit in a gigbag or case. great product good price cant go wrong with this one.

Good Tools for a good price...

This is a perfect kit for a begginer or a hobbyist. Although the alan wrenches didn't fit my squire strat which is why i bought it :( but o well it is a nice little package for the price.

Fair kit at a good price

By Anonymous

I like the convenience of the package. The stringwinder is adequate, the cutters are fair-to-good, the Allen wrenches are fine. The screwdrivers and strings are crap. The case is a bit big to fit most acoustic guitar cases. I rearranged the items, discarding what I didn't need and adding a Korg CA-30 tuner and tuner pickup, and it's a very handy kit.

Somewhat handy, but I rarely use it

By anvilchorus-vjJqv

I have had this product for 3 years and I rarely use any of the components. The replacement string is low quality. The wire cutter is the best feature, but you can buy one for less at Dollar General.

Good tools, case strings unusable

By Anonymous

from Undisclosed

An ok value, I like the case and all the tools are good, but what I don't understand is why the strings so short? I play a Les Paul and they didn't even reach the tuners.
