OVERVIEW

Don't pay too much for strings!

Gauge .026, Nickel Wound - Electric

These are the same guitar strings Rogue uses in prepackaged retail sets. What's the difference? We package 12 strings of the same gauge in airtight vinyl bags with a package of silica gel to protect against unwanted moisture so they last longer than typical string sets. We also pack these bulk strings in big, loose coils to avoid compressing or stretching the windings, so they sound better than tightly coiled strings. Rogue Strings are made exclusively for us by a famous manufacturer, employing the finest materials and latest manufacturing methods.

Comments about Rogue W26 Bulk 12 Pack 026 Nickel Electric Guitar Strings:

I've been buying these since the late 1980's and always come back for more.
The set I use are 10, 13, 17, 26, 36, 46. I have over 14 guitars ; Fender, Squire, Gibson, Epiphone, Jackson, Kramer and home assembled Super Strats.
Some have Floyd Roses, Wilkinson and Schaller tailpieces with fine tuners.
On a Floyd Rose tremolo, I put the ball end through the tuning keys, they work perfectly and the tone is great. I abuse the strings, pulling up the bar two whole steps or slightly higher ( depending on the guitar) and the guitar returns to perfect pitch.
On the Gibsons and Epiphones, all with Schaller tailpieces with fine tuners, I use solder on high E and B strings, so they don't break (regardless of brand) . I sometimes bend the string between the bridge and the tailpiece to get a sinister bend while holding chords, that puts tremendous strain on the string and these string do handle the tension well.
If you wash your hands, strings do last longer and a good 3in1 oil wiping will prolong any strings life.

I replaced the strings on my Bohemian electric ukulele. These were perfect and have a clear tone and good sustain. The value is great if you have a way to store them.

Comments about Rogue W26 Bulk 12 Pack 026 Nickel Electric Guitar Strings:

I have been using bulk strings from MF for over 10 yrs. I think most strings are basically the same, just different ball ends, etc. (Not counting the weird ones- cryo frozen, coated, etc.) Of course they sometimes break, but so do the name brands.

Comments about Rogue W26 Bulk 12 Pack 026 Nickel Electric Guitar Strings:

I had originally found these on Amazon.

The main and current reason for the purchase was to replace one string from a set I use on my guitars. I play baritone electrics tuned to A and B standard.

The Fender baritone strings that I use inexplicably have a plain, unwound third string, resulting in very dull tone from the one particular string in question.

        In that set, it's a plain .020.

Prior to moving to the Fender baritone light strings, I had always used .056 .046 .036 .026 .017 .013 Fender jazz medium strings. I've become acclimated to the wound .026. These Rogues make perfect replacements for that annoying plain .020.

These Rogue strings last as long as any other standard electric string would, and they sound good. The price is the real exclamation mark here though. What a deal. I buy strings in bulk as it is. I will continue to buy these for as long as they are available.

One last thing of note is that these Rogue strings give you one heck of an opportunity to "build your own" custom strings. That in itself is cool.

Ever priced single strings online before? Go look. They're alarmingly expensive. For what you can get a dozen of these for, you can get 1 or 2 for the same price in "retail packaging". You know. Those cute little PITA envelopes that you end up just throwing away. Go figure. Strings go stale in those anyhow.

So, yeah, buy them, and check out my stuff on ReverbNation - multiply.infinity - lowercase and the dot, too :D

I've been using Rogue strings for 10 years in the studio and live on tour. I've tried alot of strings and I feel these are as good as any I have tried. The price is awesome. I play seven string and need special guages for playing fast leads but still have the chunk when I play chords. You can create your own set with each string the perfect guage. They come in packs of 12!
