Comments about Rotosound Roto Greys Heavy Electric Guitar Strings:
I've played slide for years, and used to buy my stings in bulk to get the (Heavy) 16-18-24-36-45-54 I used for so long in Open E on many Fenders, Gibsons, Yamahas, etc...but went over to pre-packed sets a few years back for convenience, more than anything, and now have settled in on these Rotosounds, which I tried because their Swing Bass Strings are so dammed good!I use these on one of those rouge Ash guitars, though a modded Silverface Champ Amp, and use a cheapie "Tubulator" pedal to help the distortion at low volume levels. I play with fingers and thumb, Duane Allman style (in my own mind!).
