Comments about Sefour CR040 Crane Laptop/CD Player Stand:
Great because I can use a mixer and two turntables on the side, with this suspending two more cdj's above the mixer, I can play everything sitting down without having to reach much, or move much at all. One of the only down sides is that it does tend to wobble a little bit compared to other stands.
For the price range it is the most versatile cdj/turntable stand on the market by far, with more adjustment features than anything else I have seen. If you want to assemble it in the zig-zag position like I did, then the cables of a mixer you place on the base plates will crimp into the center support if the mixer is too long. I needed this stand to rest under a Pioneer DJM-900 mixer, and in a position that could fit closest to a wall directly behind. The only way this could be accomplished was by moving the front 2 feet of the mixer off of the base plates, in front of them, and onto the table it was resting on. It worked without making the mixer wobble, but the mixer became tilted down slightly which was fine. The standard position (as seen in the photo) also blocked the display screens of the cdj's below the stand, and to the sides of the mixer. The zig-zag position solves this problem (not shown in the picture).
Some pieces could have been made out of lighter materials to reduce cost and weight, as the stand is very heavy.
It never ceases to amaze me how a few machine made metal pieces can cost such a fortune, and this is the case with EVERY stand similar to this, made by any given manufacturer.
