Most accurate & stable of all the small tuners

Comments about Seiko Clip-On Chromatic Tuner:

Accurate. Long battery life. Easy to read.

Given my experiences with these things, I feel it is better to buy ONE good one rather than save a dime here and there then have to buy two or three more.
Small clip-on tuners like these are really convenient, so I have tried a bunch of them. This one is more accurate than most others. I have used Planet-waves, GFS, Snark, Sabine, Korg, and several others. To their credit, they all work OK, especially for quick tune-ups and nothing else. However, if you know how to check them with others superb tuners or by using your own good ears and tuning beats you will discover they are not perfectly accurate. This one has the same accuracy as other tuners by Seiko, and they are all excellent. That is essential when doing set-ups and intonation.
I have had no problems with this model.

Other brands have different problems:
Some use batteries too fast and die on the gig. This has an auto shut-off and seems the batteries last forever. (mine is still going on the original battery after more than a year.)
Other break easily. The PW tuner I had was OK but the battery lid broke because I had to change those batteries so often the little plastic clip wore out. I got another one, and it did the same thing.

This seiko battery hasn't died yet, so the jury is out.
It is a little more expensive, but I feel the accuracy and nice clear display are worth it.
