The YJM Fury Stack hum-canceling single-coil-sized pickup is based on Seymour Duncan's original Stack® pickup design. The bridge pickup is aggressive and handles Yngwie's hard-hitting chordal onslaught. It's recommended for rock, neo-classical, shred, hard rock, power metal, and heavy metal.
The YJM Fury will directly retrofit most single-coil equipped guitars. Though originally designed for a Fender® Strat with a scalloped maple fingerboard, the YJM Fury will work well with any bolt-on guitar that utilizes traditional single-coil-size Strat pickups. The YJM Fury is the same pickup that Fender installs in their YJM Strat guitars.

My rig is a 2011 Fender American Special strat with maple fretboard into a Peavey 6505. I was slightly disappointed in this pickup at first, UNTIL I ran a Maxon OD808 (overdrive around 9 oclock, tone around 11 oclock, and level all the way up) in between the guitar and amp. Completely woke this thing up. This thing absolutely screams now and you can tell it was designed for the bridge position of a maple fretboard strat. I'd absolutely recommend this to someone looking for a single coil bridge pickup to do lead work with without single coil noise.
Single coil stacked pickup, no features to really speak of other than being noiseless is very nice.
Never had any quality issues with Seymour Duncan and this pickup is no exception.
The price is fair, though not as cheap as some single coils from Dimarzio and Seymour Duncan.

This is an all around great pickup,I love it!
A 180 degrees of seperation from the Dimarzio counterpart,it does not sound weak at all and does create a fat sound. It's an awesome pickup!
It's a great quality,could use some more variety for colors.
Great value that can't be beat.

I have the YJM in the bridge of one of my strats. Sounds real good palm muting, a lot better than the DiMarzio YJM ever did. It is NOT a EMG but it is not made to be. The YJM will do it all, you can hear every string. With the chording hand you can hear every hammer on and off with great seperation, not a fuzzy sounding pickup. Not a super hot pickup, but I can warm it up with my GT-10. Over all I like the YJM a lot, it complements My other Fenders with EMG's very well. Not the same ol' same ol'.

I just put a set of these in my American Stratocaster and can hardly believe the sound. I have been waiting all my life for a pickup this awesome!! Thank you Ingwie Malmsteen!!, you are genius, and thank you seymour duncon!! I play Heavy Metal, Rock, and sometimes blues. When you stop playing you do not hear any noise...they are dead silent.I never played the Dimarzio version of these pickups. I am so pleased that would strongly recommend them them to anyone. You will love em!!
