The Shredneck company designed the Shredneck to satisfy your insatiable desire to shred anytime, anyplace. No matter if you're in a car, bus, train, plane, subway, at school, at work, or on the way to a gig, the Shredneck is a practice and warm-up tool perfect for moments when your axe is not immediately available.
The Jason Becker Signature Shredneck is designed to play and feel like the first 7 frets of a guitar. The tuning machines are used to adjust the string tension to accommodate different playing styles and situations. The fret spacing and neck width are modeled after the first seven frets of a standard electric guitar.
You can work on lightning fast runs, finger movements, chords, percussive elements, or simply warm up your hands in anticipation of playing guitar. Unlike hand exercisers, which generally have been designed for therapeutic reasons and do not help improve your guitar playing skills, this handy guitar neck has been specifically designed to help you warm-up for gigs, develop your playing skills, and maintain and build calluses. They are ideal for student and guitar teachers if playing a full-size instrument is inconvenient.
The Shredneck has tuning machines, however, they are not used to "tune" the Shredneck. The tuning machines are designed to hold the strings and make tension adjustments. The Shredneck can even be converted for left-handed players because it's designed with fret position markers on both sides of the fingerboard. Simply remove the guitar strings and turn around both nuts and reverse the strings. You can use any strings you like on the Shredneck.
The Shredneck will help you develop your playing skills, particularly your fingering and playing speed. Since the practice tool uses real strings and frets, you will also develop the calluses needed for playing. The Shredneck is an ideal way to warm-up before playing or performing, and you can also use the Shredneck to stay warmed-up between sets.
Jason Becker Model:
Jason Becker is a true guitar innovator and a master musician. The fully authorized Jason Becker Signature Shredneck is modeled after the main guitar that he used for years. It has a stunning blue metallic finish on the neck with a transparent blue flamed maple finish on the headstock/body top. The select maple fingerboard makes this a speed machine. It's rounded out with black dot inlays and black hardware and includes a picking route between the 7th fret and nut.
The Shredneck is the closest thing to playing guitar other than actually playing guitar!
Work on lightning fast runs, finger movements, chords, percussive elements, or simply warm up your hands when you buy a Jason Becker Signature Practice Guitar Neck today.

Comments about Shredneck Jason Becker Signature Practice Guitar Neck:
This can easly turn all the time you waste sitting behind a desk or in traffic into quality dexterity training time. I went from barely squeezing in 3 hours of practice a day to well over 10 hours. When im at work i can't make noise so its imparative that i don't use the pick cause this thing can sing. the high pitched pings it makes are easily heard in the roar of a call center now on the other hand i can do tapping and left handed scales and runs all day long and just get better and better. plus jason becker is the man.
Well i was concerned that playing the instrument would be alot like picking on the neck of a guitar with your pick hitting the fret board but its actually scooped out so not a problem. "tuners" work good
This is my only beef. First off the zipper on the gig back broke first use lol. when i first looked at it, it looked like the neck was peeling. thus the sweet maple fret board is actually like a sticker..... parts of it don't look finished. its made in china and its shame.
its worth every penny
