I purchased a Line 6 G50 wireless guitar unit over the summer and was somewhat unsatisfied with the provided cable that connected the guitar to the bodypack, it simply was not long enough or rugged enough to endure hard use. The Shure WA-304 uses the exact same 4-Prong connector that the G50 uses and the cable is much more durable. Love it.

This cable system is so badly designed. I am replacing one of these every 3 months. Becuase the "special" jack comes off the top of my wireless unit, the bend in the cable at the wireless transmitter is constantly shorting out and these little connectors are not "repairable" friendly. The wires are tiny, the assembly cumbersome, and basically I'd rather keep buying new ones then attempt to fix another one. Unfortunately, it's the only one on the market.

Leave it attached to the transmitter.

Comments about Shure WA-304 Instrument Cable:

Cable is functional but fragile. I love playing wireless but this is a weak part of the unit. If you store it carefully and leave it attached to the transmitter it will last maybe a year.

Seems like good quality chord. Just received it but time will tell. I play acoustic guitar with body pack.

Comments about Shure WA-304 Instrument Cable:

My Shure PGX transmitter came with a straight 1/4" cable good for my Stratocasters. I bought this right-angle cable because it better suits my Telecasters, and my Les Pauls.

Order came quicker than anticipated. Turned my Shure wireless headset mic into a wireless for my bass. I play for my church and this eliminates one more cord for me to trip over! Best purchase ever!

The original had issues had to replace. The replacement seems like it is better than the original. Time will tell.
